ORC/Blitz Active Clutch question

thanks for that aidan,must see if i can get one on the cheap now,lol!

that is a standard sleeve on the left..i think it has a spacer on it to push it the extra bit..
ill check later if you want mine isnt on the car at the min its disc is fucked.
if its an extension piece i can get a copy made of mine for you if your badly stuck

we fitted an orc clutch on my mates car with the stoick release bearing,, it didnt work,, didnt go into gear..
then replaced it with an orc bearing and was working fine

there is no way the standard release bearing works - i have been there and tried it

as you can see from the above picture the bearing doesnt push out any where near enough,

i dunno where you'd get another from though

It does work, you may need to adjust the pedal a little but it will work, if it didn't my gearbox would be completely fubarred by now!:homer::p

Hybrid and Chris@ccm would both agree that it works with the standard bearing as they have used it too.

yepp,, it just wouldnt go into gear at all.. once we put a new release bearing in it was perfect

there a bit dear there cheaper than that from rhd i think
johny how stuck are you..i can get mine copied monday ill let you know a price first tho
im gettin a flywheel skimmed so i can get it done the same day

im in no rush so that would be sweet.:)

Hi all can you only post if you know wot you are on about.

This is MY old clutch and i used a standard thrust bearing. no ifs no but that is wot it was running.

its not that people dont no wot ther on about pal if you read every post you would see that it has worked for some people and not others - me being one of them

better to buy the right bearing for that clutch otherwise like people have stated sometimes a standerd one does and some times it doesnt:p

can any of the blitz active users tell me which orc disc is it i need for a replacement?
the 309 or the 309d??
