"On one of the many occasions with the turbo off my car, I was putting everything back together and started to top the radiator up. I'm put in three 2 litre jug fulls then noticed my feet starting to get wet. I'd only gone and forgotten to re-attach the bottom radiator hose."

ROFL!

A friend of mine started work on a building site near me and his mate sent him to for foreman for some more fallopian tubes, to which he did lol

One monday morning I locked my keys in my car at work. Then two days later I came in from my lunch at two o'clock, at half four when I finished I could'nt find my keys for the life of me I thought I had locked them in my car AGAIN as I walked out the front door of the factory I could hear my car running. I had got out left the keys in it and locked it left it running for two and a half hours in the car park to top it off when I got into it and drove for a bit it ran out of petrol on a speed ramp in a busy industrial estate at finishing time what a nightmare! EPIC FAIL

that was not a good day lol

had plenty

-forgot to do up my wheel bolts properly, and they where removable by hand when I checked as I felt the steering wheel wobble, and it was a really twisty road. Blind luck the wheel never came off

-when doing a service, forgot to put the oil sump plug back in, decent oil all over hte drive, good 3-4 litres :(

-let a mate pump the brake pedal when bleeding brakes, he managed to kick it off the jack

-when putting my 4 pots onto my old car, thought the brake line came off a different way, got pissed off and angle ground it off, once it was off, I realised it was the other way it comes out. Needed to make up new brake lines.

Worst one has got to be paying £1100 for brand new set of volks te37 back over 2 years ago from company in calafornia named Endromotorsport and not actually receiving my wheels nor did I get a refund. CUUUNTS!!!! I like to try and forget about that.

Tryied seeking legal advice but as it was overseas and very far away was a tad difficult and would of ended up costing me a load of money for a solicitor.

i made a silly mistake of topping the oil up and not putting the oil filler cap on and drove for a few miles! oil EVERYWHERE! FAIL!!!

changed the oil, put the oil pan under the car. checked everything........ jumped in the car, moved it away and ran over the oil pan and oil went alllllll the way down the side of the car and all the way up the side of the white back door and garage door! took me 45 mins to clean everything!
Fail!!!!

on my old car, I had a 3 hour drive to go some were so I thought better check and top up the oil, so checked and topped up the oil and cl osed the bonnet and off I went, was 1 1/2 hrs into my journey when I noticed some oil on the windscreen, stopped and got out to see oil all over the outside of the bonnet, opened it to see id left the oil filler cap between the inlet and the rocer cover, car was fine though. good old toyotas.

another on was whan I was changing a mani for a friend, i dropped a nut down the exhaust which went all the way to the middle box, so had to get under the car which was on axle stands to undo the exhaust to get the nut out.
