btw it could be the bearing as stated above. i have the same problem and couldnt find what it is... bu then i put some lubericant on the bearing and stoped for a few days.. now it did it again.. so im sure its the bearing.

well i cant be 100% sure cos i didnt bother changing it... but mi 99.9% sure it is. its coming from the passanger side.

from a fella called ali, hes got a few starlet ep82's, yeh i put my 02 reg corsa as a px and got 2k for that so paid 400 on top

Il take it back to the garage i got the shockers fitted from, the guy there can tell me for sure if it needs a new bearing.


P.S do you get a noise if the cv boot needs changing?

if you check the boots for rips or splits if they have been damaged for a while esp. at the winter dirt salt and general shit off our roads will have fucked the joint i just had to get both mine done buddy :(

right everyone....i was driving to work and noticed that when accelerating and then letting go of acceleration thats when the knock happens(front drivers side)


dont think it happens when turning or going over bumps


any ideas?
