Exactly riko.

Only people that have probbaly owned a gt or glanza will know what to look for. Not only are these cars bad for the name of the starlet. There bringing down the market on the good gt's becuase they are so cheap

This as you can imagine..Fucking annoys me. Some of the cars ive seen around that area are shocking.
Do people know about whats going on?. Yes.. does anyone do anything about it?. Well not so far.

Ricky, I'm pretty sure you've heard of the saying "nothing worth having comes easy"...it's why I play hard to get with you!!....errr....I mean, it just means you have to persist, and eventually you will find the perfect car, like your old Quadlight! Look to Trevor, and further places, some of the cars he had were immaculate! True it's far, but for an immaculate car like those, perhaps the difficulty of obtaining them is worth it!

it not that im not willing to travel, i cant afford to travel to far.

just going to bradford cost me £90 and i didnt get anything.

i cant keep wasting money like that. thats the bit i'm annoyed about is the money i have lost.

I know what you mean chap - last May I spent £100 travelling to Lancaster and back (admittedly the first time I went it was on the wrong week)...to deliver Spark Plug leads. The guy made me bring my A/C System and rear axle just for him to say "nah, I don't want it anymore"...

Pissed off was a way of saying how I felt for travelling 400mi to give some Spark Plug Leads...

yeah i was in the area dude.

i really didnt mind ur car in he pics. but it just looks so wrong without the rear spoiler. and if i can help it i would rather not have a black one.

(and by the time i had driven round and round bradford i got the hump and decided to come home)

hey i went from aberdeen down there too, JAPPERFORMANCEUK.CO.UK got my silver 95 gt from him he was very honest about wat the car was like, i recomend him too, not as cheap as kieghly t*a*e centre but easier to find a nice car there thatrs for sure.

It does seem as though you have to buy cars with a few off these problems like you mention and make it into your own mint car at the end of it.....

Mine had a good few problems back over 3 years ago now and slowly erase those problems :)

Tiz a bitch you traveled so far to this though....

im not after a mint car mate im not a complete tosser, but these werent just minor flaming scratches.

would u buy a car where the front bumper was half hanging off, and could quite clearly see the car had a crap respray of some description?

or would u buy a car with a blown engine?

the thing is these cars werent cheap. they were all asking top dollar for them.

my own gt had a fair few problems to. the body work wasnt mint, and needed bits but i was getting round to them.

I think you got me wrong here or better yet i think i choose my words very wrong.....

I completely see your point in this case as for 1 the advert seems completely mislead and the car was not even half up to scratch.....

Although I will admit i did assume that you are generally very picky and the few slightest imperfections put you off... I do apologize for this assumption...

yeah sorry dude, i did get my knickers in a twist.

im not being picky though honestly, i just want a car that isnt a shitter and the engine is good.


i think i gonna go have a look at the gt that dna cars have for sale.

Yeah i can appreciate that, your not any old sod buying a starlet either, you know your ins and outs and know exactly what you are looking for when it comes to a starlet and wont except shit...

You'll get a break mate, just sometimes takes longer then planned unfortunately :(

PS.. i still need to come up and pick that blooming headlight up...
I DEFO wont it, and will come soon :)

sorry to hear about your misfortunes mate, i had the same trouble, went 2 look at 3 gt's and they were all shitters, and way way over priced!!!

i eventually decided 2 import my own, and with the car here now im so glad i did!!! i went through dna cars who i couldnt recommend more, top bloke and brilliant service!!

you should maybe look into importin?? took me 3 months from start 2 finish basically but it was worth the wait!!! couldnt be happier with the car!!

good things come 2 those who wait!!
