cheers for that dude. i was looking at importing one myself, but found nothing i liked. i have been looking for the past 2 1/2 months.

toby found me a great black gt, and i turned it down. i wish i had gone for it now, as im at the point where i dont really care what colour it is, as long as its decent.

No Probs SX as I said in my previous thread I have got to also sell a load of other things including a new full TD04 kit, and im not in a massive rush too :)

the thing is these cars werent cheap. they were all asking top dollar for them.

my own gt had a fair few problems to. the body work wasnt mint, and needed bits but i was getting round to them.

No of course you wouldnt buy a car with those problems..and im sure most people have worked out whos car it was you saw. maybe it might nice to hear somthing from them considerng it was a ''mint'' car

i was told it wasnt mint.

but i was only told and shown half of what was wrong.

i only knew the rear bumper was a slightly different shade of silver, and the scratch and crack on the front bumper, and a scratch on the passenger side rear wheel arch.

i could live with them and get them sorted.

it was all the other bits that i didnt know about, and the different shades of silver all round the car. the front bumper had more than just the 1 crack that i knew about, the front bumper was half hanging off. there was over spray all over the scuttle panel, and fuse box, and the front wings look like they have been resprayed.

there was a big tear in the roof lining, and the tinted window was scratched.

the guy asked his mate to show me the car. i said to his mate, how can you expect me to buy this?, i then shook the poorly fitted front bumper, and said look, i've travelled over 200 miles for this, and its crap.

he was very apologetic, and couldnt give me a single reason to buy it.

the car wasnt even cleaned for me.
