My mates one only had an exhaust system and it was definitely faster then a stock starlet. especially on the motorway. Its the responsiveness as well as the good torque from the engine. Starlets rarely produce 133BHP quoted stock figure either. He pulled away from a few starlets when he had it.
The starlet in question isnt stock so it will be close to call.
thats the thing tho, i would agree, i feel the starlet aint that impressive 3rd and 4th gear, but its wont be much with them on the 1/4
i would race and standard redtop just now on a 1/4 or that, and would be very confident in gettin it
but only the strip will tell folks, we'll all have to wait on the results, as idrees said, most of it is down to the driver, and how good of a launch you can get
Dont underestimate a redtop corsa there fast wee cars. If its a good conversion and healthy engine it will be hard to beat with stock boost.
yeaa will be very close i reckon race hes putting nitous on it too haha but he said hes not gna use it when we race, hes gonna do some runs with it n some without, i`ll deffo loose when he uses the nos, we are going up next sat, its night racing aswell anyone else gna come up?
i told you the corsa red tops were fast. The have no problems accelerating past standard starlets. And yours isnt standard either...
Good going though, maybe some more practise runs in with better tires and you may be even with him
yes redtop is fast but dont think thats a good time considered it is fitted on a cors (which is a light car ) and with nos , as i said before mine ran 14.4sec best and thats on a big and heavy car and with no nos so i would have expected a bit better from the red top
