when I was setting my reputation I noticed my post count was at over a million from when I was playing with it ages ago so I set it back to zero :)

just checked the reputation system and there has been 16 reps left for people so far and all are nice and positive and civilised :)

Maybe it is a good idea. And for the more annoying among us who post total crap all the time perhaps its a good way for members to raise their concerns without resorting to slagging them off on the forum.

I am going to be careful with my judgement via this system. There are bullies and groups on this forum that gang up together amd will probably neg feedback the same users.

TBH, i think i'm only going to use it to praise ppl. I like how onthe GT4OC they have a 'thanx' system which people use to say thanx for answering question etc. Its a much more pleasant way and gets rid of the negative side mentioned above.

Not being funny guys but i once (on the old forum) put up a post about an item i bought, it was crap and faulty but because loads of people new the member that sold it to me they jumped to his defence.

I had some people agreeing and others thinking i was a total wanker. To this day i no i was in the right but i had at least ten people thinking i was wrong.

Now if the same situation happened again a person could get negative feedback beacause others jump to the defense of someone they know.......

Does everyone no what i mean? Had a late night so trying to make sense is pretty difficult :)

does the amount of comments made add up to the "referrals" shown in the members profile?

Also is there any way of seeing the comments made? if not, would this not help? or on the other hand may cause alot of arguments between members.....

How many referrals does one need to get for you to get an extra green block?

agreed!! i think there should be a feedback thing on the members personal profile, so that people know who there dealing with, and it also gives that extra security with new members who aren't sure.

I don't really think it's important as long as mods keep an eye on it to make sure noones taking the piss with it.

Yeh i know what u mean Dan i can see my comments but then when i click on someone elses profile you cant see the comments which isnt good.

Highongt - yeh it makes sense mate, like i said above think it would be best to use for positive reasons. The thanx system on the GT4OC works pretty well as you can see how helpful that member has been to ppl and also the thanx they have given others.

Is there anyway you can see who gave you reputation points?? Someone gave me some but dont know who and would like to say thanks.lol.
