i can see the green rep boxes
i can hover over and read how many people have
but if i click on them, nothing happens !

i wanted to give a bit of rep
am i special or not doing something right

What does a blue sqaure mean? Green is positive and red is negative but I've been given rep and theres a blue square next to it.

means the user that has given you rep is not allowed give rep. Usually means they have less than 50 posts or less than 10 rep themselves.

I've just added rep to someone on a random post because they have been giving me advice via pm, but somehow they have recieved negative rep. Why is this? I clicked on the scales and left a comment i'm sure i did everything right

when u click on the scales it comes up with I approve or I disaprove and a comment, you maybe changed this to disaprove and never noticed? That wud give negative feedback i think.
