i have not had it on my car the trader i take me car to who is on here n highly respected refused to fit it and told me i had been majorly mislead.

i want this thread to be an eye opener for some people, i have learnt the hard way through this transaction and have been majorly let down. im a big fan of customer service it goes a long way, in my opinion through my sales experience with ally/shaf i have had a bad experience at the cost of what i consider to be a substantal amount of money n feel at a lost i urge people to be more aprehensive when dealing with people and it more shocking that this guy is a trader and this is his daily job. This is my last comment for this thread I respect all opinions and thougths from everyone who has contributed to this and accept some responsibility for my loss but i think he could of done something to sort this out whether this be a refund or a partial refund

put it this way , his basically not happy with the item he was a geneuine customer he payed up am i right and now his not happy you could still give him a refund because you did in all fairness advertise abit out with your title and description you did breifly say style etc etc so the situation can be reversed and a agreement can be made and maybe max if you offered positive feedback for the refund maybe you can go along them lines

To be fair, the title of the ebay ad does imply that it is both an SPS mani and rare. If it is SPS "style" then it is by far the least rare manifold going for the Starlet as they are all that style on ebay!

Yes the buyer should have read the description properly and asked any questions he had before buying, but the seller should have made sure it was properly advertised which he didn't.

the manifold is deffo not japspeed, its over 3 years old, and im sure julien ,the first guy i know who owned it, got it in a group buy through this website.

my say is that i know its a good manifold, i agree, that the ebay add title is a bit misleading, it does state its an SPS/Roadrunner style. which it is, and could be said about japspeed or any others with the same design. and it seems Max you have shot yerself i nthe foot a bit by changing your reasoning for the dispute. i offered £180 for this manifold when chris had it on his starlet. that was about a week before ally bought the car. i know it wasny blowing then.

Well said, as yet no one knows what make it is, i would given a full refund but he changed his mind from not being an SPS, to an damaged manifold or cracked manifold.
I put my hands up and say the title of the discription may be misleading, BUT THE ITEM DISCRIPION IS NOT.

Tbh, all my parts are listed with buy it now prices, i know all e-bay rules and regulations, ive never robbed no one, im a genuine seller on e-bay and have a very good feedback to prove this.

The 7 day money back garentee is there for a reason, i have accept refunds before and will carry on doing so if required and if items are bought via e-bay.

seems too me hes had the same issue i had with you, bought it outside of ebay. wasn as descibred an you refused the refund.

thats the only probelm with not going through ebay you have no fall back. an paypal are f*ckin useless,

either way as said, theres nothing he can do now, paypal refused too refund him, hence why hes selling it.

maybe for futre rerfrence starte things more clearly an dont be so deceitfull about what your selling. maybe people will have a good words too say about your selling.

when i mentioned the missin bracket/broken brackets, chipped lense an bulb holder damage. you said i was lyin.

i know what paypal disputes are like there pointless a waste of time or i would have disputed. but im not guna over £50 which i managed too fix.

i was pissed as there was no pics of the damage an missin bits.

either way in the past now, just be more honest with your item descriptions in future. too avoid any more threads of this nature appearing.

There we go, ive clicked on that link and in his discription is clearly says (Needs a clean no signs of cracking ) and you have advertised it as an japspeed which its NOT.

I'm on about regulations that are a tad more important called the Distance Selling Regulations. If he'd used BIN then he could take you to court and would win easily as you are breaching them, unfortunately he's left himself in a difficult position.

I'm not sure how aware of Statutory Rights you are, but they are awesome things for consumers. It doesn't matter what your T&C's are, these rights overrule them, it is literally impossible to agree to waive your Statutory Rights.
