As this is a forum and not a court of law, hard evidence is not needed. I think that if a vote was taken of all the members of this site by the moderators on weather or not to ban Sham for his part in this, the result would be a resounding "YES". If that is not enough for the moderators, then they are not taking the views of the membership of this site seriously and are therefore not doing there job to the standard that the members of this site deserve.

I was not trying to put pressure on you and I appologise if you thought I was. I was only suggesting that perhaps the moderators should listen to the opinion of the membership. After all, if there was no members, there would be no moderators. You work (moderate!) for us, not against us. The views of the membership should be paramount to the moderators and it seems that the vast majority of the membership are of one opinion.

sorry mate but had we listened to the people making most noise when Akki was stopped from trading then he would still be peddling his rubbish on here. This is being handled and discussed in great detail and I think you will find with nearly 4200 on this site the majority have not actually spoken.

We will act based upon facts and not jump in with all guns blazing. I also dont really care for your choice of words "You work (moderate!) for us, not against us" sorry to burst your bubble I dont work for you... I dont see how giving someone an opportunity to speak is working against anyone - I think you my friend are VERY much in the minority.

We have proven we have members best interests at heart in the past and I am sure the vast majority will trust and respect our decision.

Fact of the matter is we cant please everyone all of the time.

Going by some of the replies here, its seems that Sham's PM advises that the car was brought back with all different parts from another GT and thats how it passed ;)

I don't know for sure, but I'm reading inbetween the lines of some certain replies :D

from what i read it sounded like Sham was saying they repaired it at the garage once it failed and then put it through again was he not?

considering how long sham has taken to formulate his response, im sure in true fashion its water tight enough. when its posted some will believe it/want to believe it and some will not believe it/wont want to believe it.

anyhow lets just wait to here what way its worded etc..
anyone think he'll come clean in an attempt to keep his position on the site?
anyone think he'll stick by his legit mot lark? cause no1 has any proof thats it anything other than that?

answers on a postcard lol

the items the car failed on were fixed,

Rear fog lamp tell tale not working
Offside Rear fog lamp missing
fitted foglight for him

Nearside Front position lamp(s) not in good working order (not working)
Offside Front position lamp(s) not in good working order (not working)
2 front sidelights were inop so they were changed

Rear Exhaust has a major leak of exhaust gases
Emissions not tested
exhaust was welded up so can get emisions passed

Both fronts Windscreen wiper does not clear the windscreen effectively wipers were replaced

Horn does not function
horn was fixed
Offside Front Seat belt retracting mechanism defective
Nearside Front Seat belt retracting mechanism defective
seat belts didnt lock but they fixed them

Nearside Front Headlamp not in good working order adversely affecting beam image
Offside Front Headlamp not in good working order adversely affecting beam image
the aims were set

parking brake recording little or no effort
Parking brake efficiency below requirements
handbrake cable was tightened and put on rollers to get a reading

all work was carried out accordingly, i probably messed up the mileage with another car, the customer has 7 days to bring the car back to get it corrected. Its up to the customer to check all documents before he leaves the garage.

Just for reference...................

I do 20+ MOT’s a day, we are a very busy MOT centre and have 3 MOT testers here.

On the list of failures we sorted everything out, brakes were out because handbrake cable needed adjusting, we retested it on the rollers and it gave a reading that was a pass, fog light was fitted, was bought from champion motors, exhaust was welded up but as Matt says it was blown when he got it means the job wouldn’t win us awards. Light bulbs were replaced as were windscreen wipers. The seatbelts were also fixed as it passed mot on these, they did clip into the holsters and they did lock, but i cant remember exactly how good they were. The car came into mot with a different set of alloys than what wheels it was sold on, which may explain the bold tires. None of this work was done by me, but by the workers at the garage as it is not my job. The car did not pass without its horn working and it wouldn’t have passed if the horn didn’t work so I will say that the horn was fixed, if this was damaged again in the accident then I can’t comment on that. The windscreen was advised as was wheel bearing.

The second MOT test shows no advisories because there was no second MOT test, the advisories remain the same as the ones from when it was MOT’d and that advisory note that was issued with the first failure test is the one that Akky or whoever sold the car should have provided to the buyer if he/she asked for it or if the seller was genuine enough to include it, which were pretty obvious anyways (windscreen).

I have nothing to do with the fact that the car was bent or it drove like shit or whatever, my job is to test the motor for MOT, if the car was involved in an accident after the MOT certificate was issued, then that has nothing to do with me, I can only comment on the MOT side of things, not the accident, nor the way the car drove. I did make a mistake on the mileage but if you imagine I do up to 20 maybe more MOT’s everyday and people do make mistakes.

If there is anything else you need to know please do PM me, I will try my best to answer when I get the time.
