just had a reply from a friend of mine dustin who works at crowler. i asked if they had development in these or ever made anything for a 4e engine either on shielf or custom. this is his reply

We have never made cams for the engine.

i just replied saying they are coming in crower boxes, and said sure there isn't anything custom. anyway they would come in crower boxes

his reply

"They might be reground stock cams from CROWER but we have never made cams for the engine. I would stay away from them if there being sold as billet because we've not done them.

thats a strange one, he maybe just packaged them with a crower box, anyways who ever he using now is do a good job. best cams ive had are dave @ tmds cams they are super quality and well worth the 650gbp he asking for them.

i've heard this rumour about being made by crower before so seems its a lie :(

but there not good quality because everyones still having issues. don't mean TMD ones

shame as i wanted a slightly longer duration with my build but don't really want to pay 650 for them seeing my forged build is costing me less than £600 total to do

well didn't mean to cause trouble just putting all the cards on the table, and seeing have contacts at crower it was only an email away to find whats what.

The machining on the ones that came in the Crower box look good compared to the original ones that were sent. Is there anyone on here that is actually using the ones that came with the Crower box?

I never had wearing issues with the original ones. I have a new set on the way from Ivan, just emailed him direct.

You do pay quite a bit for Ivans but they are meant to be the best.

Hello i have never advertised these cams as crower nor told anyone i am having crower making cams for me..It came in crower box beacuse they did all the reposition of the pins for me to make the timing correct. You can call crower or email LEWIS at crower, he was the one who i was in contact with and repositioned over 50 cams for me which all came back individually packed in crower boxes which were mailed out as is.

I am very disappointed in some of you who accused me wrongfully.

There a lot of lads that would buy your cams Sam there not just getting the answers they need in fitting timing and so it would be great to get them fitting with out any problems Mybe other then shimming I nice thread started Mybe that they are 100% would be good for bisness

hey billy all that we did at the time to sort out the timing was let crower repositioned the pin for us. After this we never had a complaint about timing issues. The people who are having timing issues i figure never had the pins fixed. I even have proof in our dyno run of how much power these cams make over stock. But am not here to argue with anyone..Just replied as i was being accused wrongfully.

Fair enough Sam but could you put up a thread that your cams are sorted now and Mybe it can get a few lads back to buying them as I get asked many a time about people wanting to buy your cams .as they don't know if there working or not with the threads that have gone up in the past about pin position timing etc.
