still whining noise and no boost

really strange... it defo sounds like a leak etc,

maybe the whining noise is the boost flying out the wastegate?

the only thing you can do is retake your steps.

i would strip it all back down again and start over,

mayb try putting your old turbo back on and see if that makes any difference?

when you say new turbo did you buy a bigger one or get it rebuilt

its a ported ct9b. it has just been refurbed. i have taken it off and checked everything about ten times. i have a hks actuator on it, im thinking could be this. does anyone know of hks actuators packing up?

well there not reknown for going bust but its a possibility, and if you 100% sure youve checked everything else and you are confident there is nothing wrong then it doesnt leave many options!

i had this problem on way home from work just suddenly lost all boost an a real load winening noise pulled my arse over an was just boost pipe behind dump valve came off shoved it back on an hey presto back to normal


check all pipes for cracks

Who refurbished the turbo? Speak to them if they have just sent the unit back..

when my turbo went it was eating away at the housing. whined like ab bitch and didnt boost hardly at all. sels went too but on yours the seals may be holding up ok but the turbo bearings could still be shagged and lettitng the compressor or exhaust wheel rub on the housing

Yes Dunc sounds to me like a turbo problem but don't want to speculate when I can't even see the car. I would recommend contacting them as the first port of call.
