A CT9 with proper setup will have no problem destroying a badly setup 5E td05 lower down in the RPM range but would lose out on the Top end pull like say a Motorway but on the Drag strip it wud give it a Run
ECU dependant and setup ;);)

a tad optimistic there mate. :holdit:

Think it was just the drag strip part Ted was talking about, I'd obviously have to agree, a CT9 is going to be all over a TD05 on a twisty back road where your not up in the revs so much.

Don't think a TD05 motor could keep up in that case to be fair. The 1/4 mile is a whole different story.

what ted means would be that, yes it could happen but you would be very lucky(optimistic).

if you where in a well set ct9 4e and you raced a 5e td05 you would expect to get beat pretty much everywhere in the rev range(so long as its not a 20g or something stupid) therefore if you did beat the 5e td05 with a ct9 you might be heard saying "lucky that wasnt setup right!" hence optimistic.

anyways is all in the arguement. why should we argue :)
all everyone wants is toyotas doing well at the racing.
