not just that, problem is the evo launches so well, its made for quarter mile and the fact that if you spend 3 grand on one you can have an 11 second car its too easy! (northern ireland times-we dont bullshit!)
even compared to subarus its a different world, the ai500 2 door type r didnt catch me til third gear, evo would have been gone!
Ya know lad I was just thinking that earlier when I was driving, lovely dry roads! On the soup now though lol.
CT9s doing 12s? Is it sitting on the back seat of an Evo or something?
Some evos turbos are called ct9's if I'm not mistaken lol.

A 500hp MR2 would hand a 500hp Evo its ass
does the box need uprating? gearing ok? my old st185 gt4 did nearly 100mph in third gear!

The standard box can handle over 600hp, good old Toyota at it again lol! 100mph in 3rd should be grand similare to the GT

The car's going to be mental! We're just having a delema now in deciding to take it to the original 600+hp or just take it to 500hp, MR2 blocks have a tendency to split in half!

you have the banzai mag with the fastest mr2 in it>? i have it somewhere ill look it out for you, some details in there about the block threshold. though if i remember right he has split a few, and i went something like, "you can get lucky, and get a strong block or not"

Aye Rev3 blocks are thicker but weaker! Ours is a Rev1 which is the strongest of the blocks, but time will tell if its a strong one lol! U can still buy brand new blocks from Toyota so its all good, fensport aparently Xray their blocks to see if they have the notorious cast flaw!
I'd be interested in reading that Phil! As for the 888s fire away they're just under the road legal limit so feel free to heat em up proper style
