True mate, jamies mk1 is stunning would love it!!

Boostup your car is still lovely though remember it when chris had it :)

just because someone else has priced their starlet quite low with regards to its high spec, doesnt mean this guy should reduce his price because of it. sometimes a huge spec like that forged gt can deter buyers hence why the price is low to attract interest. its not always the case of if a car has alot spent on it that it will return the money, more than not it never does. in my opinion its a good spec so he should keep the price at what hes happy with, a buyer will come along!

Have I said he should lower the price?? No!! I think it's a great car see it near enough every weekend and it goes really well too. But cat is right in what he says. When for an extra grand you can get something as big a spec as jamies then people do look and think that it's a bit pricey, in my opinion it's a lovely car but the most I would pay is around £3600

sorry i quoted the wrong reply mate, i meant notorius cat or whatever hes called :)

the thing is its not your car so if he feels its worth the money than i would say to him to keep it priced what he wants for it. as ive also said someone might not want a massive spec'd starlet either, yes it might appeal to you, but not for everyone

I totally agree that people should price their cars as what they deem it's worth, that is their choice.

And I do appreciate alot of money/time has been spent on the car, but unfortunately as it is always said a car is only worth what a buyer is willing to spend.

It makes no difference to me at all whether or not he reduces the price of his car, it was a post to help him sell his car. Now adays everyone wants something for nothing, as you have said some people are selling their cars cheaper than what they are worth and that unfortunately has a knock on effect.

Also I'm not one of those people that expect something for nothing, I will easily pay a fair price. Eeveryone who knows me on this forum can probably vouch that I'm trying to help him sell his car rather than have a dig at him.

^^^ i totally agree with you cat, iknow yer car is yer pride and joy,but me personally for that kinda money i would be looking at getting decent specced td04,cat knows this from personnel experince as he himself had a forged td04 that alot of money went into,he ended up braking it cause it was worth more in bits, and i can vouch for cat he's a decent bloke and he's only offering a little friendly advice to try and sell yer car,he ain't trying to slate ye...;)

Why would your GT be less reliable than the DC2. I would think the opposite. The ITR is off the shelf Honda job, and the parts are specific to it, so if you break anything its gonna cost you WAY more than the EP, which shares TONS of parts with the average Toyota.

Having driven several ITRs, other than their size, i don't find them more comfortable than the GT. The ITR is a basically a track car with short gearing, little or no low end torque for driving around town, no noise suppression, and stiffer factory suspension.

And ULTIMATELY as any Honda owner will tell you, if you want real power you're gonna have to turbocharge it anyway.

there is always summit more interesting out there. and change is always good.

my car sold today for about the price your asking for your starlet, i know it was wayy underpriced, but money talks, some1 made an offer, and i just let it go.

I would have bought a metro just to offer in a swap if needed lol.

You could always not send off the docs and get the cops to repossess it, keep the cash and then sell it to me? :D
