I went from a maybe 180bhp starlet to a jdm dc2 1999. I am not looking back, the whole torque thing is nonsense if you ask me, I drive about at 40 in 5th all day and it loves it, when i wanna smash it just drop a few cogs. It is an easier every day drive undoubtedly, depending on the exhaust, mine has a mugen twinloop that is pretty much silent below vtec and you can cruise in it no problems. The build quality on them is great so you barely get any rattles and shit, but mostly, ive had mine a couple months now, havent been under the bonnet for anything more than checking the oil. I love it
