Td04 1.5 bar. What to expect?

im was bothered about the engine as i know what build it is dude!!
No big mysterys to these engines even tho some lads pretend to have big secrets.

im getting at the fact that its bein stated that the td04L will flow 300bhp on the 4E

nobody in this thread has suggested that its possible without everything working together an in its favour.
it would need fanastic fuel, nos would probably be the easiest way. water meth and lots of timing is another option.
i dont really mind whether you believe it or not. if i had told you it could potentially make 260 @1bar before we did it you would have swallowed your keyboard aswell.

i understand that but why would you wanna change to an aftermarket diff if the box already has 1?
i'm well aware you can't fit an aftermarket to an oem box, but if he bought that box he wouldn't hav the hassle an expense of buyin a diff £350-£400, buyin bearings ect for the box having it built an the hassle of no car while it's bein done?
put simple buy an oem lsd box an just swap wit the 1 in the car?

last year i was at 270 @1.4 on the td04 with a standard head, its well possible to get 300. all about keeping down the inlet temps
that's wat i tho lol
, think standard diff that came in oem box is trd 1.5 way. most aftermarket apart from kaaz are 2 way an more aggressive

there is no secret, ive already said the it would need Nos or water meth.
there is no mystery. like anything good it needs alot of factors to work together in its favour at the same time.
it needs the right setup(engine build turbo intercooler ecu etc etc)
the right mapper(chris)
the right fuel(sul with nos or water meth)
and then the necessary time on the rollers/road to bring everyhting together.
and money + alot of favours.
and thats only to get a figure(whp/fwhp whatever) soon as somebody gets that, then you start all over again with everyone saying it means nothing without a 1/4 slip etc etc. off to the drag topic, which adds more variables. traction setup and driver skill etc etc
clear your head gary. you think it cant be done, we think it can.
will afterglanza have any interest in trying to do it? no idea.
if he had any sense he'd fire a td05 16g stock on there and run 1.2bar and save himself this nonsense LOL.
one thing is for sure there are no secrets or no suggestion that secrets exist.
granted things like afr timing and cr is chris business to tell or not tell its his game.

if u insist on thinking a td04L will run 300bhp please show me proof of a td04L running 300bhp on a 4E starlet i wanna see Dyno graph and torque figures and none of this u can run Race fuel this that the other its about keeping inlet Temps down!! bla bla
Just answer me one question what does a Turbo do when it reaches its choke line as it were to say???

stops flowing any more just heats up.
with higher compression you have the same pressures within the engine without turbo having to generate the pressure all on its own. therefore creating more power at the same boost or the same power at less boost whichever way you want to put it.
ANSWER me ONE queSTIon does a td04 need to run beyond its "choke point" to make 300hp? you think so, i dont.

High compression will run more power with less Boost but lets face it lad what are we talking about when we say high Compression??
What have u measured to obtain the Engine Compression????
What calculation have u applied to obtain this???

I think everyone should just cheat and use nitrous, screw wot a turbos limits are, nitrous is your friend hell for the sake of arguing and winding people up, I could make 300hp at 0.5bar on a TD04

hope u get ur yoke sorted but for arguments sake if u wanted a big shiny Intake plenum chamber and Throttle body id have brand new sitting at home for ya with the short runner design for big power
