Think it was just a Turbo 4age, I'm hearing now though its not 500hp, closer to 360hp on a standard 6 speed levin box, it was 3rd gear he lost too. Poor Toyotas had a bad box day!

Forged 5E with a T24 he told me, about 400bhp on an emb.

Think there may be a few figures floating about for that one!!

it some sort of jap build though no doubt as it was run by the guys at hot imports i think. and we all know the hype that surrounds big spec imports.

Read this last night on DTDirl:

Lads that car is not 500 bhp and never was. It came for Japan with a few melted pistons. I had some custom ones made and rebuilt every part of the engine. Even on elf race fuel all I could get out of it was about 360 axel bhp @ 1.6 bar. It seems to have a levin 6 speed box which is not very strong at all.

For his first event he did ok with a 13.2 as driving it with out getting to much wheel spin is not easy in the lower gears. Also the last time I was it here it was full weight plus a cage and sound system. It is much heavier than a Starlet or Civic/teg. With a better box Id say it will be very quick.
