I paid £2500 for my first year on my Glanza just so I could have it on my own policy. That was the most I could afford so therefore I chose a car within that price range.
What your brother is doing is illegal and if he was ever to crash I'll bet the insurance company will find out that he had been driving the car more, leaving him as an uninsured driver.
As stated before, don't buy a car that you can't afford the insurance on, simple.
You wouldn't be saying that if he hit you and the insurance company decided his policy was void.
well its not insured though, if he hits someone, does x amount of damage, and the insurance company find out he is the main driver but only named. dont forget they'd ask why he was driving it etc they wont payout anything, which means you'll have to sort it out with your own money, or i expect as your fronting anyway, you'll just leave the other person in the shit

Yes I've heard it's illegal but at the same time there's probably hundreds of people on this forum that do it too, lets not crucify this one guy, let them learn the hard way. - If someone crashes in to me and there insurance didn't pay out... I'm sure They would one way or another.

Welcome along lad!!! I caught the GT/glanza bug when I was about 13 and my cousin took me for a spin in a rwd ep82 turbo that had just come in from japan...had too wait till I was 19 too get my own GT but it was worth the wait so jus hang in there mate you'l have one soon! Happy posting!
