Turbo Specs

Does anyone happen to have a spec sheet for the CT9a/b, CT12 and CT20 turbo's please? I need compressor and turbine diameters, trim, flow rate and maps if possible. I've checked Google, but it's about as much use as a handbrake on a canoe. :homer:

im guessing about 1.1 bar? 2.2-atmospheric pressure which is 1 bar??? dunno! those figures are ok but doesnt tell you what units its measured in or anything.

I'm not sure, but looking at the figures I can't see why the CT12 gets such a slating for being a pointless upgrade

because there isnt a great deal of difference, from the ct9, if you went for the ct20, then there would be enough of a difference to warrant the ammount of work needed to fit that turbo, just my opinion.

sorry lads to burst ur happy bubbles.. but the turbos that come with the twin turbo supra's & on hte soarers ie the 2jz-gte's are ct12b's .. they dont bolt on @ all..

what ur talking about dunc is the ct12a ie from an ep71 with a 2e-telu engine .. ;) which is the same size as the ct9, only has a smaller ass... not much of an upgrade, i would know i tried one lol..

oh right, didnt know from experience, just from what others had told me on here! what about if you swapped the compressor side over from a ct12 to a ct9? arent the cores the same so the compressor side is interchangeable?

well yes in fact in the old days, (long b4 u lot came along lol) the 1st hybrids we used to use on the forum where as u said above.. but we also used to use the ct12 induction side blades.. as its something around 1.4mm bigger.. but the rear end is not interchangeable.. so u must use a ct9.. ;)

u wont see any noticeable increase, even though power would have increased by a bit.. but not really worth the hassle.

the ct12a hybrid i had was one of syawal's kit 1s well lets put it this way, the front had a ct20 intake inside & the rear was stock.. IT WAS CRAP! the amount of back pressure it caused in the head almost caused over heating after a few runs down the qtm.. worse yet is u could feel top end the car was DEAD!

So Kon, the CT12b, would that be a decent upgrade or is it too big?

i know someone who has fitted it here, pretty decent upgrade even though these turbos (like any other toyota turbo) dont really like going over 1.2 bar.

with 12psi it was pretty impressive, well not that impressive but id compare it to a CVH t25 as far as specs go.. its not that laggy either, if i remember he said he got full boost by around 4000rpms
