so AFR are now shit then? lol

i love this forum, everyones like sheep.

i personally dont like afr never been there, but all just seems a bit fake to me, and there dyno is far from impressive or accurate which is why i've never used them.

but then i've not found a decent tuner yet lol.

i doubt it's inacurate, considering a ct9@1bar made 202bhp @ fly and other cars on the same day were supposedly under reading???

Yeah since this was released on UKSC, i kept wondering how that member produced that figure! Think he was running more than that, like 1.2 or summit

Well when i went there they openly admitted that there dyno was on the more conservative side, so going off what they said to me

TBH i still think ppl would be suffering wheelspin, it super common on a DD rollers, need a good diff and usually 4th gear runs to combat it.

i would rather have it on the conservative than get a reading of say 350bhp and it feel like it got no more than 270-80 bhp

200+ can be done on a ct9, i made 166 ATW with stock mani stock ecu etc, just fmic and decat exhaust at TDI hub dyno,

anyways don't get worried about number's there for pub talker's, get it on the road or quarter mile and let that do the talking:p

I went to the rr day and run my car, was a good day out.

Only thing I noticed with there rollers was that the boost in relation to rpm was way out. Im running a ct9 and on the road im hutting full boost at 2500 ish rpm, according to their graph its 3500 rpm. Other graphs looked out to me aswell.

If this isnt set up properly it makes me think what else isnt?

are you sure its full boost tho?

im sure they do power runs in 4th gear and figures are conservative. My old td04 starlet made 217bhp at monster and then 216bhp at another DD rollers in ripley.

3 vids on mine on the rollers, the first run they had to strap it down harder to stop it stepping off :) 2nd run it popped a boost hose and still put out 89bhp as an NA, so the engine maybe isn't quite as tired as i first thought

these are the 3 good runs it put in, pity the boost control wasn't stable else i'dda got more. happy with the result all the same

Yeah im certain. Graph to real live certainly do not match, would you wait until 3500 rpm for a ct9 to get to full chat lol!

They ran em all in 3rd on the day.

runs should be done in 4th gear anyway.

i've not heard of any problems with dd rollers, best thing is to use hub dyno's if your worried about wheel spin

exactly, mine is fun on the road, and feels more lively now than when it had more power cos of the way it delivers it :)

i attended for the crack and just out of interest, was a very good day and i enjoyed it :)

yh the guy who made over 200bhp on the ct9 was running just over 1.1bar:)

mines made about the right power tbh 204bhp at a bar so aint to bad for me:beer:

Dynos cannot give you the same load on a car as if it were on the road.
Hence the reason in diffirences in boost delivery.
