Mate you havnt experience the true starlet feel yet dont pussy out!

the cars you listed by time bought them you could have very high powered ep and rape them.

jamie with my ban i didnt find confused any good at all us sort need to go to the back street guys :p

aye mate, but 8k for me to get 350bhp, that isnt that reliable tho, or 8k mebe a touch more and good a good makinen edition, and ive had a wee look at some porches aswell, think i like the idea of them, but aint practical wi the dog, canny just throw him in a porshe haha.

i will see, i doubt i will buy before im back to sea again in february, otherwise it would just sit around for 6 months, but then, in that 6 months, the prices could pick up again.

so i will prob just get the starlet upto or around 200, and leave it there untill after xmas

I think Confused.com are poor, go direct to the sites that provide you with the lowest costs. There are also some good cash back websites you can use.

It sounds like you're going to pay a premium for insurance if you want to move to another car.

I'll have a little more than 8k to spend but so far I'm looking at the 2003-2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STi, preferably one with a prodrive package that brings it to a comfortable 305BHP! Nice to own a more modern car that you don't feel the need to modify.

I too was looking at the Blob Eye Scoobs. I really like them.

I've been looking at MK1 Focus RS, EVO VIII and the Blobeye STi's for a while. Main benefit for me is that you can tow with the STi, you get more for your money and you can't beat the sound. Although I have driven an FQ EVO VIII on a track day and I thought it was great.

My friend has a prodrive and straight out of the box it offers alot. Comfort with power behind it.

when i felt like that with my glanza i started looking at rev3 mr2s...ya can tune them just as easy as a starlet except youl be battling for 500-600bhp instead of 250-300bhp

2's are nice cars but they are really annoying to work on. 500bhp in an mr2 would be a handful to say the least! Speaking as an ex-owner, they're not trying to catch you out on every corner as they always get slated for, but they 'snap' extremely quickly if you make the smallest of errors. If you boot it though, you have the same effect as piercing a 5" hole in the fuel tank lol!

Lots of people put the Camry 3L V6 lump in the mr2's, and although it's not the same as massive turbo kick, it's supposed to make the car a lot more user friendly, and the sound is awsome! Don't think they're fast though, normally only about 220bhp ....pretty poop from a 3l v6! The subject always causes friction on the scene, but the camry owners reckon in the twisties, the linear curve of the camry makes it fantastic to drive.

I love my Subaru to pieces so comfy and its been perfect reliability wise, just a lil thirsty (as its my daily) and expensive on insurance, its very quick off the mark with the VF28 and close ratio gearbox, mine RR'D 272bhp with just exhaust and filter remap mine and it will be 300-320bhp which is enough for me atm and i didnt pay an awful lot for the car itself

After that its a bigger turbo and injectors remap again and 350bhp
