Im guessing its an old english manor house you owned then?

I could sit here all day long and talk to you guys about stuff but i wont because 1) i always end up scaring myself 2) i wont be able to sleep 3) somthing ALWAYS happens if i speak about this sorta stuff too much

After i wrote my comment last night, and i even said somthing is likely to happen....

Went downstairs after switching computer off, went into the bathroom to the bog and hadnt bothered puting bathroom light on (toilet in a small seprate room off the main bathroom) then as im going to the sink to wash my hands in the half light of the room the toilet is in..BANG i see a face clearly in the mirror!

Once again my heart stopped and i just blurted out AHHHHH at the top of my voice, and ran as fast as i could back up to my room. I was shaking like a bitch, dunno why as ive seen it all before in this house.

Trust me DO NOT try having a light on in a room near the bathroom and looking into a mirror when the bathroom is dark and only lit by the faint light of the other room. your guaranteed to see things as mirrors show some strange shit.

Just to add..

Me and Rob (rob300zx) came up with a plan;

How about we organise a TGTT ghost hunt thing, sounds pretty ghey maybe but still, a group of us lot interested in this sort of stuff get together and see if we can stay alone in some seriously haunted place for a night or two. We could try and get permittion to stay in some old manor house or somthing and take some video camera's or whatever and find out if we can actually spot somthing.

As long as were all quiet and not noisy like the idiots on most haunted we may see somthing.

To be honest. Im really skeptical on this type of subject. But very open on the possibilities of the human brain.

I know its a bad example, but when you watch all these shows like "most haunted" etc. The skeptics never see or feel anything. Its the "ghosthunters" that get all the jollies!

Their crap. i wouldnt even bother sitting and watching most haunted, waste of time.

Their too noisy, they constantly walk around and make a big deal. They will never really see anything as their not going about it the right way.

And Lew you WILL be coming mate, we'll make you, would be f*ckin epic. If theres a few of us and we do see stuff ill be crappin meself but least were all in the same boat then the adrenaline kicks in and it becomes buzzin and the hair on your neck goes on end. Mad feeling.

Yeah most haunted is pretty bad.

But even though I dont really believe in the paranormal as such. I still love to hear ghost stories and things from my mates and other people.

But I do seem to notice that it is more the people with open minds who see/hear/feel these kind of experiences. Where as I like to believe there is a reason behind it all.

You'd probably never sleep again though mind. Belive me, i have trouble doing so every night.

the only time i can truely sleep is if my gf is next to me, then im relaxed, if im on my own then i dont sleep to well and end up jumping up in the middle of the night for some reason.

Outer body experiences are very strange, my dads ex gf had a really horrific one, i dont even want to write about it to be honest as its not nice and scared her to the point of suicide almost. And shes a very quiet laid back person with an open mind and not really one for making up stuff.......what she told us is what happend and personally im not sure how i would have dealt with it.

Lets just say she thinks she met somone and was spoken to by somone who isnt on the nice side of things, "it" also tried to make her do things and do things to other people..etc im sure you know what im on about...

Lots of people have very vivid experiences I know. But you really cannot underestimate the power of the brain.

Your brain creates your reality. I know its a bit of a sweeping statement, but it can be used to explain EVERYTHING. There is so much yet to be explained about its abilities and potential.

I remember seeing a documentry on a "possesed" girl, similar to that of the excorcist, but in a real life scenerio. This included video's and recordings of this little girl and things around her. Such as the bed shaking violently with no apparent explanation and chairs sliding across the room. All seems unlogical until you expand into the possibilities of telekinesis and the brain using more of its potential.

Seems far fetched, but logical in an world of endless possibities.:confused:

Seeing all these stories i am very tempted to narrate a small story of mine....

The hospital where i work is full of stories...and i didnt believe any of them until one night i experienced something very different...
It was about 3 am and i got a call from the labour ward...i had to attend [yeah im a doctor] to a patient who had just delivered.i proceeded to the labour ward,half asleep and down the corridor i saw a guy,very tall walking towards me...very jovial and carrying some flowers in his right hand and a plastic bad in left hand....
He was in no rush and by the time he came up to me i was already awake...lol..Then he asked me the time,i politely told him and continued walking.He kept on going down the corridor and i was walking the opposite way....Out of curiosity,after a two seconds or so i turned to check if he is still walking....And to my horror,he had just vanished....
Mind you that there were no exits,it was just a long corridor.

lol thats weird, i was in my local hospital yesterday visiting a relative and there just such sad dingy places perfect for that sort of atmosphere i really dont like them lol

As said the thing where you wake up and can't move or breathe is sleep paralysis, it happens because when you sleep your brain paralyses your body so that you don't act out your dreams (sleepwalkers) and with some people when they wake up there is a delay in regaining movement.

has happened to me also that sleep paralysis shit, it is very scary and its hard not to panic!

luckily it only happened 2 me for like 3 seconds but yeah i couldnt breathe or move, but i could open my eyes which was weird, fuck that tho

i get that alot!!!!!!!:eek:i always wondered what it was,thanks mate:)as much as i try to fight it in my sleep,i cant,i just try relax and it stops:)

its a very weird thing...one time when it was happening,i was being choked around my neck and a mans face laughing at me..it was so real!i had my eyes open staring at the wall in my room at the same time...but even still i was probably asleep!very strange

yeah normaly you feel someone choking you... in malta they say its the "hediela" like the death without the two big tumbs on her hand trying to choke you but she cant... and after a few seconds everything will come to normal. i fuckin hate it.

Man I hate being in a hospital late at night, walking down creepy corridoors with no noise bar your own foot steps and all the reflections in windows which have no lights behind them, shits the hell out of me!!

go have a look, ive been to loads of so called haunted palces in my time lo9oking for ghosts and seen nothing. most of its in your own mind.

like that tv program most haunted, your gunna be crapping your pants if someone puts you in a dark unfamiliar building and tells you its haunted then leaves you on your own.
