personaly not used the r888 but the yoko A048 is an awsome road legal track tyre, cant remember if its only available up to 14" or 15" but fantastic grip!! i think alot of people forget the other semi slicks due to toyo being so well heard of.

Another thing if you corner hard often then they will wear down very quickly. Mine became illegal after about 7 months(and that was only really weekend use  ) . Not good but worth the enjoyment again IMO. On the right car with the right driver they are a very good mod.

just to add. in corners they are very good. you dont feel "woobly" like normal tires wil do. will be more steady as there walls are much harder!

thats why the perelli p-zero nero is such a great all rounder the side wall is very stiff and as a proformance road tyre they are great in both wet and dry exellent every day tyre.

ha ha, this is one of those threads that will never end as everybody has own driving style and different conditions, hp figures, use for the tyres etc. My input though as follows, on my starlet I am running 195/50/15 and alternate between two sets of tyres, yokohama s-drive and Bridgestone potenza Adrenalin, I find the yoko's do better in a straight line and more comfortable ride, the bridgestones however sit better in the bends but the ride a bit harder. I am classified as a "spirited" driver.

Dont think you can get the Eagle F1s in 15s any more.

I got a set last month from mytyres.co.uk

Would have to say they're pretty good, it's the rest of the car's suspension etc that's letting the handling down! Had toyo's on my old car which were also fantastic, but i know they weren't great in the wet. That's why i've chosen the eagle's this time. I've also had Yoko's, can't remember which ones but they were pretty shocking.
