I think there is some confusion regarding the driveshaft.

They were only quoting for a driveshaft because the CV joint comes as part of it. Toyota never offered the joint seperate from the shaft.

And yes it is scandalous but they don't set the prices, Toyota do.

I heard of someone paying €1000 Euro for 2 CV joints and fitting from Toyota...

oh right, so if i bought the drive shaft from toyota, then the joint would come with it?

am gonna do what 97glanzavturbo said and get someone to fit a new CV joint and clutch, which il buy
