the plugs i took out were white and since then i have connected the commander and it knocks on throttle , if i`m slow on the throttle but still rev its ok thats what makes me think it may be the lambda cos they can react slowly aswell when they are knackered,
what i`m planning on doing is getting a lambda hopefully saturday fitting it and then remap monday and then fingers crossed 1bar safely

mate if you run with the lambda disconected it should actually run richer, as it only has control over fueling up to a certain point to keep fuel consumption to a minimum when pottering about. when on W.O.T the lambda shouldnt have a say in the what the fuelings doing. so your problem may lie elsewhere..

have you checked fuel pressure? when was the last tim eyou changed your fuel filter? would be an idea to check the timing aswell incase its too advanced

yeah, i would doubt that it is the lamda to be honest. it would be cheaper for you to check the things mentioned before a dyno run though, as they will only charge you more £ if they have to look into it..

things to check: fuel pressure, change fuel filter as theyre not expensive, ignition timing.

what is the spec of this car by the way?

from what you have described it's not the lambda its the tune mate thats running lean.

remember it was tuned in japan and they use higher octane fuel, which is different to uk spec stuff.

your best off getting it on the rollers and getting it checked, or connect a wideband lambda and check it
