Wait till your really old! 9 points on my license and its £400 fully comp on my Glanza. I love being old!!!

2 months ago before i got my no claims reinstated i had to pay £2200 and i was 23 at the time on my gt.

i now have my no claims reinstated and my premium is now £1300

My fully comprehensive premium for the starlet was around £600 at 23 with 2 years NCB from Bell. The car was pretty much standard though. I had a claim in 2005.

Well I think it was 2 years NCB.

My GTti with all modifications including ECU + 10% etc is the same price with my girlfriend included.

Wow, I had 0 NCB back then too!

I think the area of Cheshire I was living in had a better claims rating though.

Im pretty pissed off, and a learnt a valueble lesson.

I was driving since the age of 17 on my dads name until i was 20. A Nissan Sentra (SR20). Then for one year I didnt have a car. Now I have basically lost all my driving experience( well thats what they say).

So Im 23 now, No NCB and driving the Glanza S on my wifes name, and me as a named driver. And still I have to pay 1300 Euro. thats bullshite! Ireland so rippes us off with the insurance! So hopefully when im 25, and got 2 years NCB. Then only can I have my V. Soooo long.

For a small 1.3 litre turbo car i think the insurance costs are scandlous.

Im 34, full no claims, been driving 14 years and my premium is around £460.

I think thats exspensive as the same insurance company quoted less for my Subaru which was modded to 400 bhp! WTF???

I pay £1150 fully comp with 6 points and two claims against me one £5500 and £1800 im 21.
But with that lot to my name i'm grateful i can get insured at all.

Dude, im actually quite impressed with that, whos it with?

Mine was £650, 3 years no claims, 3 points and i was 21 at the time the insurance started

I just tried to get a quote on a GT on carmoneysupermarket, its gone up to 1800 as i now have 0 years NCD and just got another 3 points on my licence, it is quite an innacurate site, so when i can i'll get some proper over the phone quotes and let you know

You cant sell it its got that lovely varis bonnet lol !

Just try different companis like elephant, bell, adrian flux etc.

I was paying £1400 at 19 but i tryed a new quote with 2 years no claims at 20 and its like £675 so just try around mate :)

Best place for a gt is bell. before my glanza all of the above claims n shit no ncb was 1100 with personal injury cover and windscreen.
