Followers went in at the exact same position from where i take them off.And before i had no noise from them.

you should gain excellent results from the ct9 with stand alone ecu especially with the head work you have done. im going to be putting a standalone on my ct9 set up very shortly (i have been side tracked with another project for the time being) the stock ecu ignition map is rubbish, so with a good map tuned to suit the turbo characteristics and your wicked head and 1bar should see 200hp no worries i would have thought. what spec ct9 are you running? and with what manifold/exhaust and boost control?
anyway back on topic let us know how you get on with finding the issue when u have time
my engine makes the same noise and has done for the past 3000 mile, only when cold, (you can hear it ever so slightly when hot) and hasnt got any worse, so i put it down to the piston clearances.
i have recently rebuit my cylinder head and reshimmed it, and all valve clearances are as tight as they can be,
the car drives fine, and i dont have any other unusual noises, and it doesnt burn any oil, it doesnt breath excessivley from the oil breathers, and it doesnt sound like little ends (has been known for little ends to go once or twice through faulty manufacture) if it was little ends it would get worse over time.
as long as the oil pressure is ok, and it's not burning lots of oil, all is good
I dont have an oil press gauge in the car right now unfortunately but the oil light goes off at the few first couple rotation of the starter and i have check i have oil delivery up the head. Dosent sound as wory as a little /big ends noise. It is a more sweet light noise. I also run a little bit less piston clearence than what ross suggest for turbo application. You can hear a bit of piston slap for few seconds tho ..(90 or so) but after this it is quite. My noise is the same as my 636 ninja with the timing chain. The thing is that maybe something from the out side is loose or something cause the noise seems to come arount the altenator and below the intake mani.
Let see on friday...!
Thanks for your input!
Chris
ross pistons are notorious for having stupidly large piston clearances, i have wossners that are meant to be almost silent, and my noise is exactly the same as yours.
keep us posted how you get on please dude, see if we come to the same conclusion
problem is, all 4 pistons will be different sizes, you shuold get your engineer to measure each piston seperatly and re-bore according to each piston!

wierd yours is noisy then, mine is a bit when cold but pretty silent when hot. Wiseco pistons that is
