wha was the duty on your injectors? at 1.2 bar at that power surely you would need 330cc as a minimum?

nether the less a great result! Would love to put a K1 on my starlet

Hmm that’s around 250 bhp atf given 15% transmission loss are you sure mate? 217 WHP seems an awful lot for a K1?

Fair play if it is would like to see the graph for it always good to see and collate different graphs to see peak results etc?


Hey guys, apologies for the late reply, I've been working like a baastud recently :( Yeah, I need to find out for sure, the guy I got it from said this, I was abit sceptical. Maybe this is at the fly. I need a remap and RR session. Took it in to JA Performance in Ellon the other week and the guy didn't get round to doing anything with it :( I went offshore then and when I was back the guy Simon (the RR mechanic) was offshore :(
Reckon its running rich (hence needs remap) and the boost was not holding at 0.8 bar. I recently fixed a leak at the mani and the boost is holding well at .8 but sometimes holds at .7? I willset it to 1 Bar as opposed to 1.2 when I bought it. 0.2 Bar shouldn't make much difference should it? - It sure feels slower, partic. at 60-100mph
I'll have to see anyway - I think I have fixed a boost leak tht I had at the mani now, just about to set the boost to a Bar and see if it holds. My oil temp gauge is now working after sorting a faulty connection. Hopefully get it to Jap sometime in the near future.

Dunno about the injectors, haev to have a look. Get it down to Jap sometime, last w.end I set the boost to a bar and its not holding everytime. Will keep you posted on progress.

well i recently got my k1 mapped at 1bar ,185hp and 180 torque but the crappy mapper didnt do a good job cos it still knocked.( cost me 400 squid) i ported the wastegate which cured the spike - it spiked to 1.2 and dropped to about 0.9.
anyway ive learned to map my power fc - ive got the knock reading down from 60 -80 to 30 at full chat and because it doesnt spike ive upped the boost to 1.2 and it holds all the way but it is hitting 100% on injector duty and the engine warning light comes on at 5500 revs so i need an injector upgrade but i can tell you it feels alot quicker - it pulls for longer ie higher up the revs
