ecc got your wheels and tyres yet?

Phil

Nah not yet, I'm hoping they appear next week!

John thinks on the tyres she's sitting on now that a near 11sec run should be doable, there's just that much power over the entire rev range now, never had any power above 6800rpm really before.

I am good at the talking business lol, but I'm quite confident now that the car is there, she's a git to change gears in but I'll have that sorted soon.

:haha: if you notice spuddy never claims to be F1 material, but you cant deny his car is unbelieveable fast.

saying the car is capable of 11s is hardly rocket science, though actually getting 11s might envolve some rocket science.

Lol Phil your right as usual :)

My car has all the upgrades ya can get (except my blueprint brake setup!) but the pilot needs some upgrading!

I just go for the brute force over skill method!

The funny thing was last season I was rubbish untill August and then I climbed back up.

I'm hoping its the same this time, going by ECCs reaction after driving it I think its more than possible.

fancy testing in portavogie? lol

Phil

Didn't even get out of ECC industrial estate lol! We have some erm intersting footage, all 100% legal cause I never got out of 1st gear lol, weren't even on slicks so either the new semi slicks are awsome or the cv has been weakend with over a years racing.

My first thought was oh no not the gearbox again! Was never so happy to see a mangled CV.

I need spares for next weekend!

come on what's it making without the cheat in the bottle gas??:haha:

Lots! I'll try and put up an edited chart to show the increased power band.

Scrap that idea I can't do it easily and am too lazy to sort it out!

Have you looked into getting your coilovers set up for dragging? seen a few mad setups with the back of the car high in the air and the front low seems to be a good aid with traction.

The coilovers have not been fitted to the front yet, need to get the car home and get the blow torch onto the track rod end adjusters then I'll fit them. That'll be Sunday or monday

The back is stupidly high at the moment and ECC have fitted a custom part to the car that as far as I'm aware no other Starlet in the world has which should give me the edge on launching ;)
