recently i had noticed the engine temperature has been dropping down.when i leave it idleling it goes up to the normal position,just roughly above half.when i drive it,it drops down to cold and the same when i turn the heating on.would the temerature sensor or the thermostat be gone?thanks guys

it was the outer cv joint.there was a tiny tear in the cv boot and dirt got into it.more than likely you might have the same problem.check out your cv boots

spool up is the amount of time it takes the turbo to reach the boost you have it set to. i.e. a ct9 turbo will hit 1 bar of boost quicker than a TD04 would

yeah but i havent had abs so im kinda glad they went so i can get it back on

lol no man i have to get new joints and i was reading that people were having problems with the abs rings in previous threads

has anyone fitted them recently 23/30 and had any problems with their abs?have to order 2 and dave hasnt got any in stock

it was a new one.took it off to count the splines and om ordering them before the weekend

it was the outer cv joint man,the drivers side.didnt expect it to go so soon.replaced both less than a year ago

dont think its the outer cv's cause it feels like its coming from beside the gearbox when im resting my foot on the foot rest

im gettint the knocking sound driving straight and when turning left but the noise goes when im turning right :confused:

has anyone had one go on them before?should there be much play in them?

has anyone had to replace the bearings on the driveshaft ?the bearings that go into the green cv cup?just had a terrible constant noise when i drive above 50kmh +
