Mine used to randomly drop to about 1/4 on the meter on a long run, then go back up, then back down (as it was getting stuck open and shut) Then on the way to a date my temperature needle hit 3/4 and I stopped. That was a hint mine was gone - and I got no lurving!

uni chip, and a fule cut, prob?

You would usually take out the FCD - as it would clip the voltage, and is not needed with the unichip as it can be setup with FCD and SCD effectively. However the unchip I had used its own MAP sensor, so it probably would have made no difference leaving it in

    best polish!

I used to think autoglym polish and meguiars wax... However now I swear by claying, and using Jeffs sealant system - search for Werkstat Acrylic Kit. I find it far beter than polish/wax as you can put it over the whole car without having to worry about annoying white marks at the end...

I used a twin one on mine with no problems.. either will work The twin was easier to sell on when I went for chatter due to there still being escort RSTs back then!

    FAO Exedy clutch users

I had a 30% uprated one on my 1st starlet. Was fine at first but quickly became notchy and unpredicably sticky. Then I got an organic and that was perfect. Like dirving with a std clutvh that could take loads of power

My bottom end showed signs of death at 160,000KM on my EP82 1990 (lack of oil pressure and compression) and it became rebuild time. Shame not everyones lasts as long as yours!
