A visit to the ring is a must for every pistonhead/car-enthusiast. Period. You won't regret it. I'm a regular driver there since 1999 but still, each time I go is a great experience. Take your time when you go, don't just go for 1 day. There's so much to see..

Could it perhaps be that the car is setup too stiff ? Because you mention B-roads.. and here all B-roads are a bit bumpy :) Do you have enough travel left for the shocks ? What tyres are you running ? Have you tried running without front swaybar ? If the car is setup wrong, a different shock...

I'd buy neither of those 2 because I would kill myself if I would crash it.. but I think the running costs of these 2 cars are a bit above my budget anyway.. buying is 1.. maintainance and in the end having money to actually drive it.. that's 2. So I'll keep the starlet lol !

Here in Holland they had mega problems with the 3ZZ, that's the 1.6ltr engine. Same as yours 1.8ltr, excessive oil usage, I know some of them from the Corolla Club and there were few using oil as much as petrol LOL ! It's all warranty though.. but still.. doesn't give much confident. Better stay...

Toyota used to have Hitachi LSD's if I'm not mistaken. I can't see the picture but I'm going by hardcoreep's comment that it's an old OEM lsd.

Hm another ZZ engine bites the dust. One could debate Toyota's reliability (and credebility) since the ZZ engines. They are all prone to be thirsty for oil , and the 1ZZ on the MR-S / MR2 suffers from the precats..little particals get sucked back into the engine destroying everything. I dunno if...
