    Xenon bulbs burning issue

Most probably it was a random event as other members suggested. But I took some extra measures anyway. I made sure that chassis grounding cables make really good contact etc. Give it a try

Hi Stulet-GTT. U from Cy? Cool :) Well, this sounds like a quick way to pin point the problem... and if I let a camera recording this, I might end up with a winner youtube video :P

    Whistling noise when accelerating

Happy new year guys. I'm facing a common (i believe) problem with my Glanza V. When accelerating, from about 2500RPM as turbo spools up, i start hearing a pitch increasing whistling noise. At ~3000RPM and above the noise's pitch level remains the same. I checked IC's pipes, and they...

    Repairing Glanza's electrically folding mirrors

Thank you for your positive comments guys, despite this being just a simple procedure. Got some more write ups in my blog of my Glanza mods, but some of them lack of detail. When I get the time I will add some detail to them and post them here. Until then, feel free to browse around :)

    Repairing Glanza's electrically folding mirrors

If you hear/feel the motors working while folding it by hand right after pressing the retract button, then I guess your folding mirror is either stuck, or for some reason the motor is very weak. You can try fixing this with lots of WD40 as Corey_gt correctly suggested earlier. If not, then...

    Repairing Glanza's electrically folding mirrors

It's 2 separate mechanisms. Not 100% sure if the motor is identical, but I believe should be more or less the same. Does it respond at all (sounds/movement) when you try to fold it?

    Repairing Glanza's electrically folding mirrors

That's how I was feeling like last time I got this problem and I kept postponing fixing it. Until I accidentally pressed the button to fold the mirrors, and the motor got in a very loud endless loop. So I was forced to get off my ass and fix it. So an alternative solution to remain sitted...

    Foglights' cap

Oh well... you are right... but with the low prices of Xenon kits lately, I couldn't resist :) I've been using a Bi-Xenon kit for headlights for the past 4 years or so, and I was very happy with the result. So I decided to go for Xenon foglights too. But I have to admit that the result is not...

    Foglights' cap

Merry Xmas fellow Starlet/Glanza owners. I'm getting ready to do some touch up paint works on my Glanza's front bumper, so I've removed it for these days. I also got the chance to do some restoration of the foglights' covers. Now they are once again clear... as they were supposed to be :)...

    TRD 1.5way LSD Starlet

Just to make it clear... I have a `99 EP91 Glanza V, with C56-02A gearbox. I just bought a TRD 1.5Way LSD (Part No. 41301-EP800). From the photos of the item, it appears it has 6 holes! Does that mean it won't fit my car??? :(

    Xenon bulbs burning issue

Hello guys. I'm facing a weird problem with my Xenon kits on my `99 Glanza V. Please have a look below. 3 years ago, I installed a HID kit for headlights. I replaced my 55W H4 bulbs, with this 35W H4 6000K Bi-Xenon kit. Since then I had 0 problems with it. It worked flawlessly and I'm...

    seat belt warning

Lately the passenger's seat belt warning light started having the same behavior! When the passenger puts on his seat belt, the seat belt light starts flashing. If he pulls the belt a bit further, sometimes it stops. Sometimes works fine right away. This is getting annoying! I located...

    Fog light fuse?

Anybody found where's the foglights' fuse (or relay) located? I'm going to install 55W Xenon foglights, and it should be wiser to install a bigger fuse first.

    seat belt warning

Taking the gauges cluster out and removing the seatbelt indication bulb, is a 5 minute job :) But yet I'd rather spend some more time and fix this issue...if possible

    seat belt warning

I couldn't find anything at the pillar either  I took off the plastic at the upper part (over the shoulder), as well as the side plastic of the rear seats. I could see at the bottom some cabling, but I couldn't spot any wires connected to the seat belt mechanism. I can barely access...
