1st post edited to non turbo starlet now! any body know what other model starlet engine will be a direct fit

rite lads, i got the leak behind the timing belt cover sorted,, it was the core plug that had popped,, i replaced with a new one put coolant in it then after and left it running for 5 min, then brought it for a drive & it over heated and was also putting water out the overflow pipe, so...

as a above , my ep82 starlet soliel,has being lying up for a year and when i started it there was coolant leaking from the lower timing belt cover any ideas of what is causing this leak

hi all, i have an ep82 95 gt turbo and the engine needs replacing ,i have found a bare engine for it out of a glanza turbo and i am wondering is there any thing else i need to get from a glanza to make it run, ,some body said something before bout throttle body or a swirl pot?? any help...

i would like to replace it with the turbo engine but a second hand one costs around 900 here and i probably would have to send it to the engine shop to get the valve seals and headgasket done in it as most of the starlet turbo angines where im from have the shit driven outa them so i wouldnt...

hi i have an ep82 non turbo 1995 starlet soliel and my engine is blown and i am looking for a cheap replacement engine that will fit without having to change or make much modifications . . . ... . . . its a 4efe engine in my starlet as standard,, i was offered an engine out of a 91 / 92 starlet...

and i checked the radiator aswell too see what was causing overheating, it was the radiato cap thats wanked, when i squeezed the pipe the coolant started coming out of the overflow at the top of the rad

i done a compression test & cylinder 4 was very low compared to the rest of them, i put a squirt of oil into the cylinder and still didint bring up the psi , so that means its bottom end probs, today i took off the head to check it out & cylinder four piston is rocking fron side to side , so...
