Well done bro nice to see you do so well.

12.3  fastest starlet around then in Ireland
fair play to the chap, but as was stated allready if he does it in ireland then it can be claimed but in sayin thats over 400bhp doing 12s and finish off with 13s isnt the best tbh.

Not to smart, guess thats why they bought Hondas lol.

honda's rule and you no it:p whos the fastest fwd car in ireland at the minute?thats right a honda and not ur useless 4wheel drive gt lookalike:haha:

great results. i came over a couple of times when you were parked up but it was always crowded so didnt get chance to chat but well done :)

lol same here i came to ecc few times lol but it was busy... and i wanted to ask why werent u launching it of the line or changing gears properly

it was clear the 13's was because u were missing second or taking
a second to find second gear lol:beer::beer:

all in all it was good to see a starlet in that event ...
i wann try next year haha

well done!!

Would that be Chris?? He didn't do too well today, first run and he was out. Think burnt pistons.

Overall was a good day. I missed spuddy yesterday running in the 12s he only managed in the 13s today. Still impressive though :)

Yeah he said he thinks he cooked in on the top speed run, he was pretty gutted from what he said.

Said hes gunna strip it down tonight and see how he gets on.

Cheers lad. There could be more left in her still.just a pity that the head is lifting, too much boost/hp - good problem to have I suppose.

Hi Sean :homer:

My last run of the day was a 12.7 and it was a rubbish launch, for some reason I dropped the clutch at 8000rpm like a tool.

Low 12s is good for E marked road tyres on a non prepped concrete (not tarmac) surface, once the slicks are on the game will be upped a bit, unfortunatly I don't think I'll have slicks for the event in 2 weeks time. I'll just have to make do with what I have.

I think I coulda got a 170mph on the top speed run, I never launched it and didn't try to bang gears through it just cruised up, I was somewhere around the 7400-7500rpm mark in 5th gear. I was very impressed with how solid and stable the car felt at that speed, no wobbles or lightness.

I did go out for a second top speed run and used the launch control and anti lag but I ran out of fuel going into 3rd gear so pulled of early.

Overall it was a great weekend, can't wait to next year! Big plans for the car now, this event has convinced me to keep working on her.

Great day!

Well done to Spuddy, he done the 4e proud, 6th in the 1/4 mile against some really powerfull cars, and 3rd in the top speed at 164 mph!!
I even took a photo of the slip just for future referance :p

This car may not look the part, but fuck me it can shift :haha:

As for the Northern Irish (or Irish?) record, Spud has it by a country mile, regardless of where it was posted.
Because at the end of the day, it was built and mapped in N/I

Seems to me the challenge is on between the two, its all to play for now.

Again Spud, superb, and it was good to finally meet you.
My brother was even well impressed as was my mate, the lass just thought it was brilliant

Ill get what ever pics and couple of vids i have posted later on also.

Excellent.

Awesome result Spudman.

Don't think you have had one good run all year so it's good to see it at long bloody last!

Exactly how it should be don't you agree mate? He was talking some nonsense about tidying it up with a new bonnet, etc and I had to talk him out of it. She looks perfect the way she is!

Agree 100%.
I even asked the mosty stupid question while i was there, if he had washed it before coming over! :p You will know the answer to that...
Spud did say it was washed on Saturday when it rained though!!
