Ok. The owner is still waiting on his eManage ultimate. Secondly in some fit of insanity he's decided that he's going to go 4WD. He's already bought the parts and only needs the proper fuel tank for installation. He's opted to go this route because the gentleman that we gave the car to in order to sort out the Microtech has a 4WD fetish. That mechanic has converted several Toyota AE111 Levins, and the new Celica's using the old GT-Four running gear. As of this point I've kinda just backed off the project until sanity has been returned.

So just watch this space.

Rory would that be Bolt or Mad Max???

what boost got run on spi's standard engine before any mods just a straight and standard 5e engine with boost, because i understand his logic when he thinks why rebuild it low comp etc or split it untill it dies first, the basic low boost should be good on a standard 5e would it also?

The peak figures seem to be within the 25-28psi depending on turbocharger.

the reason why there is so much information in here is because we colonials from jamaica r in here trying to tell the world what can be done.

but most dont believe and i pitty them as we jamaicans are by far the best starlet tuners in the world bar none.

instead of not beliveing u ppl need to read and comprehend from real starlet tuners. :teach:

its a big statement cause its a tru statement.

and what more facts and input u need. read the friggin thread. ppl from all around the world ask us how its done. we wrote the book on starlet. most just couldn't see past there arse to realize that some jamaicans can build better starlets with far less money and far less resources.

read any thread in here about 300 whp starlets. they are a dime a dozen down here in jamaica. and we never need scat rods and wiseco pistons and a bunch of unnecessary crap

So before you start ranting Blakchiney which starlets have you built and tuned then? And wiseco pistons and scat rads are crap are they?
well why did you buy a set of their pistons

hey guys i just bought some wiseco pistons from off ebay. anyone know what cr i will get if i put them in my 5e?

i think this is a great thread my self and ive have read all through the hardcore ep site as theres some great info on it. I would like to think the Jamaicans would post up more of their builds on this forum.

After those fighting words not knowing the formula to work out compression ratios is quite embarassing to be honest.

Any chance you could find another Starlet owner out there that would like to get this done
without going on some Mr Toads wild ride kinda theme?

i never said i was a tuner. i dont know the formula for calculating the cr i will get. big deal

i am a customer of a tuner. that still doesnt mean that jamaica doesnt has the best tuners in the world. even tho i am no engine builder or tuner i can still build an safc 2 stock engine build i make 300 hp with what i know. wouldnt even pull the engine. thats how easy it is.

i am now running wiseco piston cause i am now running nos and plan to run a higher amount of boost on our e10 90 octain pump gas.

still running stock rods. i made 294 whp and 270 ft tq on a stock oem 5efhe engine using an evo 3 turbo. as i said i have nothing to prove to u ppl. the ones that want to know what to do pm me and i advice them accordiling as to what i have done woth my car and what parts i use. u guys can have fun spending all that money and still not doing jack sh*t

My 1994 toyota turbo starlet made 305 whp and 261 foot torque today on shell vpower 90 octain pump gas and meth injection. only thing changed in the 5efhe engine was the pistons which are now wiseco standard bore forged pistons.

i have a nitrous setup and a pair of speedvision cams that i am yet to install. going to a drag meet this weekend to see what she does
