God I thought I was bad driving from Glasgow to dover and back in a day for my glanza lol! Seems alot of folk are bullshitting mods when selling up these days it's just as well you knew what you were looking at.
Car looks mint anyway so it wasn't a wasted journey.

The story will be much better heard in person, the looks on our faces were classic but even better was the look on the other guys faces...

Me : "you go on the forum mate?"

Other guy :"yes, the very odd time"

Me: "oh right, you know jay then?"

Other guy: "yeah seen him on it"

Me: "oh right, thats him standing there"

silence......

Jay: "where are the mods that were listed"

Jay: "Grab the compression tester, should we set up the wideband?"

silence......

genius!

Haha ahh i love it....bet ye didnt at any point say that though.....

Cant buy or make up comedy like that so an epic adventure it was and just looking at the pic of the mk1 you finally bought just topped of the trip something brilliant....She looks well nice so well wear and enjoy....She was worth it....;)

Good work lads. Travelling is something I wouldnt hesitate in doing for the right car.

The first dude you went to visit sounds like a muppet... hate time wasters. Glad it turned out in the end :)

Well just to avoid anyone else getting excited and buying this as their first car...

this is the car in question: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1466627.htm

The price has fairly dropped since I enquired about it.

I challenge anyone to find those mods on that car.

As Jay says, he's broken much better.

It dont mention any of the damage in that add.
