Its good to see a nice graph showing it all working.

Get your turbo repaired and try it again, could see more improvements.

Peak power is quite deceptive, you see it with Honda N/A tunning, they fit an ecu and get 3hp or something mad, but when you look into the graph they have made 30-40hp in places they never had it before and thats the power your after.

You in need of an acuis spuddy lol me and john can cut you a deal with one

very good info provided weejohn
really a nice improvement

makes me wonder about the jump from 5200 to 3800rpm,,,must be a significant improvement

not sure of the program
but the acis can be triggered by a standalone and some piggyback systems
you can even get an rpm switch to trigger it

rpm switch does the job from what ive heared but wee johns the man to ask as he has it working like clockwork

Also set one up using a pressure switch measuring boost at the manifold. Max boost was 1 bar, set the switch for 0.8 and it worked ok.

No dyno test for this set up but so no idea if its better, worse or the same. Seemed to be full boost was a good spot to change the runners so decided to try it with a willing guinea pigs motor lol.

is there any of them airco valves near the trotle body that can be used as a switch for boost

i do not understand ...the Acis must be activated at a certain boost vs rpm level ...for example at 0.4b you cannot otice nothing when activated ..but over 1b ou will feel it better

old tread, but just to update

here are some measurements for the stock 4efte manifold

the 4efte intake runners are 37mm * 28mm ----where it connects to the head ----area = 814 mm sq..... the exact same as the 5efhe ACIS manifold (expectedly so)

the 4efte runners measure about 10.75 inches in length............close to the length of the 5efhe ACIS manifold short runners (10 inches)

this makes me wonder if there's similar characteristics/performance between the stock 4efte manifold and the 5efhe acis manifold when the short runners are left open throughout the entire rev range
