What I find odd is that one of my friend has the EP91 and is insured through Adrian Flux and he's 19, driving one year with one year NCB. Another friend of mine who also owns an EP91 who is also 19 is insured (not sure who he's insured with)
Turn 21 next July Though I don't have much room for choice, so I guess its playing the waiting game. I did however get a quote from Quinn at about £1033, that was with one years NCB but I will have to wait untill the beginning of November to go through with that. Not nearly as bad as waiting 10 months, but its still going to be the longest 2 months of my life.
Edit: One friend who owns an EP91 is insured through Elephant but on the policy it comes through as non-turbo, and the other friend is insured with Adrian Flux. Not sure what his EP91 is registered as, but I'm guessing its also a N/A vehicle as both of them are paying around the £800 mark and are younger than me. Would hate for either of them to make a claim though.
I was insured with flux on my glanza V at 20, with mods.
i was insured with flux at 20, 2yrs ncb 1k mods declared (alloys, exhaust, airfilter, fmic, dumpvalve) also live in a high risk area which plays a huge part in quote price.

If that is the case I would go and tell your freinds that they might as well not be insured as the car your insuring needs to be listed on the policy. It's like insuring a GT FOur but telling them its only a 2.0 GT Celica.
That means if they have an accident or make a claim they are fucked and if they crash into me that makes their insurance invalid and I'd lose my no claims because of idiots who can't afford to insure the car they are driving.
Apologies for the rant but I hate folk who toss about with insurance when hard earning folk who go through the correct channels and pay more.
Back on topic anyway m8, sorry about the rant.
Between 1700 and 2000 aint that bad really but I'm sure you can get that cheaper.
Have you tried admiral?
I could take them to court and I'm sure the police would want to prosecute but if I wanted to fix my car because of the smash it would be my pocket and insurance that would be dealt the blow, thats why I'm always ona rant when people are not insured properly.
£1300 is not that bad to be honest, when I first got mine I payed just shy of that and that was with a smash to boot and I was 23 then.
I am very close to chesterfield, live just outside in a little village called Tibshelf.
Ah that local! Yeah I know wesley, never met him but have seen his one sat outside the co-op when I'm nipping in for some spuds. He's just put a new engine it is hasen't he?
