Oil before the combustion chambers will be blue as it will burn, so if it's the turbo seal I would think it would be on the exhaust side where the oil would just smoulder in the hot exhaust.

White smoke indicates headgasket?
Oilseals would have blue smoke......

Any temp issues?

im nearly sure its the other way around but maybe wrong

blue smoke would indicate head gasket and the blue colour would come from water getting into the combustion chamber???

Oil burns blue, and water burns white.

Example, when the valve stem seals let go, it burns a blue smoke.
When a kettle boils, its white.

Surely if it's water it'll disappear once is comes out of the exhaust, on account of it'll be steam, and if it's smoke it'll stay visable.

not really as its the coolant that smokes as opposed to water, that why most of the time if the headgasket has gone, you get thick clouds of white smoke which has that sickly sweet smell to it.

I understand what your saing Sam, but white smoke/steam from the car usually tells me its water related.

if the headgasket goes between a cylinder nd water port your gonna get white smoke from the water/coolant burning. but then oil in small quantitys or just smouldering also can produce white smoke. you'd easly know if your gasket was gone by now cos your car would be runing like shit:p

You can easly smell the difference between oil and coolant burning!!

i smell oil burn
but i dont knw if coolant mixed :(
its second time idrive with this engine
its fitted new ( last week )

is oil mixing with your coolant? or vise versa?

and as somebody already asked is you temperature acting normal or is it rising at all?

has the level of water/coolant from your radiator dropped?

Quick question, if you dont mind,

My car at the moment doesnt smoke at all, after a 2-3 minute drive i'll park up, and you blip the throttle and no smoke but when revs drop back down after 5 seconds of idleing blue smoke will start pouring out and this is repeated after every blip of the throttle....

I know my engine is in a bad state and has been for a while now, but can someone attempt to pin point? i can only assume something to do with the pistons etc has gone...

Although saying that its an absolute rocket, hitting 1.4bar today lol....
