i suppose that you also use the Simota airfilters...they come already encased in some hard fibre glass material...so that would take care of the filter getting water when it rains or when washing ur car....

Filter relocation

i'm looking to get an Apexi power intake soon, just wondering what my options are with relocating it.

i want to ditch all the plastic toyota turbo inlet pipes, and obviously the airbox. Here is a pic of my engine bay at the mo

I have a/c and have no intention of removing it. where would be a good place to move it too? (i don't want a "Cal Job")

I'm routing it down, undernesth the cross bar and back up to the front bumper. Same route as my WEPR front mount piping.

Yeah, but i'll be bringing it up so it's mostly covered by the bumper, for when it rains.

Just so you know, I did mine the other day the way I said and have no issues with boost creep at all! Works a treat.
