hi iv got my glanza insured as a turbo but typed the reg number into 123.ie for the craic nd it cem up as a 4 door 1271cc starlet dl

so was wonderin am i acually insured ?:confused:

then you are insured ! dont worry about it ! my car reg doesnt even come up when i type it in on any of those sorts of web sites

if you smash into someone and do the worst ei kill/fuck them up, they chack your car over for mods and find a turbo they wont pay out and you will be paying for some ones death/inless for the rest fo your life

my old starlet was under as a 1.3 GL drove it for a few months as it being a stock 1.3 but i kept getting pulled all the time so it was going to happen 1 day when they check the lot.. so i changed it to a GT turbo....


i wunt do it

EDIT: dint read the topic through ... thort u said it was not as a turbo.. :S

Your insured then, i went into halfords for a bulb gave them my reg and it came up with a corolla lol so don't worry about it

yeah if i write my reg into insurance companies etc it comes up as a starlet 5dr cd lol. as long as u have told the insurance company its a glanza v turbo u will be fine

mines comes up as a corllo dont know why best bet is actually telling your insurance what it is saying

to the people out there whos cars arent registered properly i would suggestyou call the DVLA and get it regestired properly as it will only come back and bite you in the bum.

as for insurance dont insure them as non turbos either as insurers will eventually just kick your claim out.

honesty is the best policy!

No need to change it mine is insured as a Glanza V once this is written on your policy you are covered a lot of the insurance companys in Ireland dont have the Glanza and Gt turbo on there systems our 180 is insured with Britton's and the dont have the 180sx on there system all they have is a 200sx on there system so they have given a policy with 200sx on it but with a cover letter stating that the car is a 180sx and it's insured properly.....

did you buy that 180 off a lad in ennis? colm daly?

Nope first owner's in Ireland bought direct from Driving Sport's in Japan tuned by K Kawabata but the original Power Fc was stolen out of the car before we got it, it was in Ennis getting a new front bumper by a certain panel beating company who took it out on a joyride and broke the clutch pedal assholes :mad: and they over charged us for a shit job
