Had my glanza for 2 years, and although i still keep looking at other cars, i still love my wee car. its pretty much standard still so i do want more power but it still makes me smile every time i drive it and quite often find myself just wanting to go out for a random drive now and again. especially since i just fitted a new exhaust.

Although i am a bus driver now lol, so getting in the starlet everyday after driving a bus makes it seem much more fun.

Oddly enough I took mine out this morning and gave it a good clean. I then made a metal note of the little "niggles" I'd need to sort to make it as good as new. Regrets? I regret having crashed my first GT. Thoughts of selling? That's impossible! Maybe it's different in the UK as these cars are still readily for you guys. Over here we cannot import cars older than 5 years anymore, so if you have a GT, that's it...count yourself lucky. Anyway, there is no other 20 year old out there that can possibly make me as happy.

as above really starting to loose interest lately and thinking about selling up and getting a new car something like an s15 , ek9 or ep3

anybody else getting sick of pumping so much money into there cars? i have alot of spec on mine now running around 210 bhp ish and still feel like its nowhere near finish and will never end :(

anybody sold on and had regrets?

Just on the type r/ep3 thing, i went from a dc5 itr to my glanza (insurance) and i'd never go back. Vtec is fun but you cant beat that boost

had an ep82 gt before for about 5 years which was in very good condition (i'm sure guye would agree...lol)...sold it ONLY because i found a glanza in excellent condition

owned the glanza now about 5 years as well...i have no intention of selling it......i slowly took my time and got the car to how i wanted it....no regrets

like some of you guys,,, i do question the amount of money spent on these cars over time...lol....but i figure we all have hobbies we spend money on for our own pleasure

and like guye said...its becoming pretty hard to get a decent glanza/gt locally nowadays....people always ask me if i'm selling....lolol

biggest mistake i ever made, even if the reasons will eventually (hopefully) outweigh the regret, but i massively regret selling mine, especially as its now in pieces and all my hard work has gone to the wind, still i have photo's and well documented history :(

i keep promising myself when i'm financially sorted i'll get another one, and i sincerely hope thats the case one day, everyone said i would regret selling but i didnt believe them.

althogh there is a possibility that i may have had a different thought if i got the evo 6 like i wanted (bloody girlfriends forcing you to grow up)

I have had my gt for 3 1/2 years and never been happier lol there is times it scunners me with money and time i put into it but at times I have said am selling it and moving on but u go out the road n it changes ur mind :-D

Soon as a big Evo or skyline pulls up u shock to poor owner to death by smoking him up haha

Buy a second car and use ur starlet at weekends make it more fun :)

Every time I go away or on holiday I always can't wait to get in my gt and give it death puts the biggest cheesiest smile ever :-D

Had my starlet since i got my license at 15 (almost 20 now), loved every minute of it and learned a heap from it.
I will admit that i have been tempted by other cars so i just got an mx5 as a 2nd car to let me have some more fun and give me the option of taking the starlet off the road to do mods

Im the same as you guys, you get a wee bit disappointed thinking what you could have spent the 10k+ on but then as you have all said when its up and running well you don't regret a minute or penny spent :) The only thing i regret is that I've still not got a build thread and i ain't taken as many pics as i would have liked over the last 3 years but hey the next project will be getting plenty of photos and updates on what's happening :D

i broke mine a while back and had a bzr levin and have an ek4 now and not sorry i broke the glanza as the civic takes unreal hardship and dosent give trouble but i do miss the pull from the glanza and thatfeeling you get when it comes on boost but the levin was just s**t sold it after 2 days lol

I broke my Glanza and got a DC2-R and thought i wanted another one and then when i did it reminded why i sold it. Too small, crap in the corners and it seems only 18 year olds drive them now. Get an ek9 or dc2 and you will never look back.

Dont get me wrong when i see one i smile and miss mine a little bit as i do have a soft spot for them but they just arent for me anymore.

Had my Glanza the best part of 4 years now and had a few other cars in this time aswell at the moment I have a Corsa vxr that i drive day to day and it is definately no slouch. But when that morning comes when you open the window and the sun is beating down i know which car im taking and it ends in a V not starts.

am the happy owner of a GT for 8 years now.
came close to breaking her after one of the rods snapped and punched a few holes in my engine but glad i put her back together again.
might strip her eventually when i get my hands on a decent kp61 to rebuild and tune (13btt build)
