After my recent faults with taking the car 2-3 times to get setup and being told it was incorrectly installed etc and starlets ecu doesnt have a throttle cable (according to the apexi manual) when it does ...
Ive finally managed to get it installed correctly and seems to be working fine. Last time i was at the rolling road, Alan the technician explained to me ... my S-AFC2 thinks its adding fuel but actually isent .. so we had in mind it could be a faulty unit.
When i got back down the road, i upped the fuelling to the max system of 50% correction i think it was, left the car running for a while and then took out the plugs ... they went from a nice shiney brand new set of plugs .. to black i.e overfueling.
Is there anyway at all i can tell if my unit is faulty? It seems to be adding in more fuel, but when on the highest setting its not cutting out or the engine tone isent changing, when i was told it would.
Im really in a pickle about it and the next closest RR is hours away.
Any help would be a help
