Last i read samsung was doing quiet well.....

i have a 3GS and have done for the last 2 years? ive only just upgraded the frimware from 3.0 or WE to 5 its served me well tbh, htc/samsung/apple all have good phones (some even share certain parts e.g the new iphone 4s screen is exact the same as the new LG`s)

just depends what you prefer...each to their own.....try them and make your own mind up

Yeah and Samsung make all that, Samsung makes most of the Iphone for Apple -) Screen, case, memory.

I'll give it 2-3 years till Samsung will be the most popular mobile phone!

And to 96v.....shit customer service? how many phone manufacturers can you walk into with a small fault with your phone and get a new replacement on the spot with no argument or messing about?

How many phones you can drop on the floor easily and not to worry about the damage? well quite a few in fact, but not the Iphone for sure. And you know why? Cheap parts being used!

from the review's i have read the galaxy nexus just wins it,

theres a lot of pro's and cons between the 2, and the apple does do everything it does very well, things like the camera are much better, and the os is smoother,

but the nexus is a better all rounder battery lasts longer and the screen is larger, and updates are coming for it to sort out any little issues, and you dont have the restraints of having to use itunes,

my gf doesnt have the use of a computer in her house for internet (lives in rural location with limited internet access) so if she were to get an i phone the use would be very limited for her,

No it doesnt. You are right though in what you say about its how apple want you to use it. Thats exactly what they do by limiting alot of features because thats what they want you to do on the phone. Jailbreak truly unlocks its full potential to where its a mini computer! There will be more things you would want it to do if you knew you could do it. My old 3gs could do way more things the iphone 4 could do, now ive got a 4 i miss some of the old stuff i used to be able to do, doesnt help wit ios5 that recently come out.

Apple also limit the range on wifi (dont know why), its not a problem but its soemthing they do as well as limiting alot of other things. Replying to texts over something you are doing without interuption is something you cant do, having a call not interupt what your doing also but still able to see who it is and answer if you want. Not saying Jailbreak is a must BUT it does what you say........ "Unlock its potential" :)

I have to agree, the spec of the nexus is right up there at the top. The only downside to the phone, which won't affect me really, is that it doesnt support a micro SD card, but I would be doing well to fill 16 GB anyway. :)

One thing I would say is to experience the screen on the nexus, running a HD video... it is actually unbelievable, like what the hell is a 1280x720 resolution screen doing on a phone?!

How am i a bellend you pungent slice of knob cheese! im my experience, wether its an iphone/ipod (whichever gay apple product it be) the assistants in the shop do not really wana know, i had to ring the customer service department only for them to say i had to send the product back for them to have a look at! it took almost 3 weeks before i next heard anything and even then they said there was nothing they could do!
they only give a fuck about sales and nothing more!

so if you think thats good customer service, your a mug

i kno im right in what i say mate, an yes it makes perfect sense. as i explained. jailbreak may allow you too do other things but as i said, apple made it too that spec, so yes i am using it too its full potential. changing how the phone works/software what ever it is kind of defeats the object of it being made as it is..

an what you ona bout limit wifi, as i said i have no issues. i can use all types of wifi, an from all distances. an the fact that you can now use you iphone too produce a wirelss signal such as a router does, an allow other devices such as laptops/otherphones too connect too it. thats remarkable. basically what your sayin is you want too be able too use the phone without being interupped by a PHONE CALL? why have a phone then dude? use a pc. or what ever else you can. dont complain about it as its doing what it was made too do.

You're completely missing the point, changing the way it works defeats the purpose? FLOL. Maybe you should have left your car standard then, same principle.

I have a phone to communicate, i have this same phone to do things that apple restrict. This unlocks it full potential. If im busy doing something important which a phone call would normally interupt, which could lose my data, a banner/alert/anything i want to will pop up/ring/vibrate allowing me to either carry on doing what im doing or answer. Simple.

No need for a tablet, pc because i can to it on my iphone. Its not just for calls if you didnt know that already, and no one is complain either, again something you missed completely :sigh:

And no, you are not using it to its full potential either.

dude your clearly a tool. i mot missing anything as i said i works how I want it too. an again its works too the full potential it was made by apple too do. right? yes .

i can send a txt with out being interupped. i can also go on fb an use that freely an when a txt comes through its vibrates im not losing anything. clearly your losing sleep over this mate so you should start designing your own phone that maybe will make you happy.

people wouldn use it if its as bad as you seem too think it is without jailbreaking it. a few pricks like us lot with opinions dont chage the fact that its the most used phone in the world. an that is because it does exactly what its meant too do. which is what its for. fact!

I wouldn't say the iPhone isn't a good phone it is you've just got other choices now from other manufacturers I rate Samsung high in probably every product they make I've had/got lots of items made by Samsung laptop,TV,phone,Blu-Ray player and every one has good styling and reliability

Agre, blackberry is a phone, not a pocket pc with an option of a mobile phone as an app. Also you can't beat security and an email, not to mention the battery life. Not as popular as an iphone but hey even if the Iphone will be the worst phone ever people will buy it for it's "awesome" design - lol.
