dude just too add in the year ive had a iphone 4 im on my 3rd unit due too me breaking it in arguments an it hitting the wall lol, an apple have replaced it for free each time. never been charged. id say thats a pretty decent thing. an its a walk in /walk out with a new phone (FOR FREE)

Yes its the underdog but it works lol, they dont break very easily, the battery life is fantastic, its a tool not a toy lol. All the iphone/samsungs are is downsized tablet pc's lol.

Early android os was a tad naff but hands down my s2 is unreal. my boss is an apple whoare and his 4gs can do nothing the s2 cant. Plus the quality of the full hd 8m camera on the s2 is fantastic! Each to your own but apple havnt made a new concept since the ipod realy, they just made it more advanced make calls and made it bigger. only thing that realy changrs is the name.

For some yeah. Only the blackberry messenger network, still had calls, texts, emails, internet etc. Hardly an inconvenience. And every manufacturer has their faults.

Well my phone wasn't affected at all. Only older models were affected. And all it was an email and bbm, you can live without it for three days. It's way cheaper then many other phones has good reception battery life and a decent keyboard. It is a phone with some app features, not a pocket pc with an app of a phone.

galaxy s2 is way too big anyway can barely hold it in one hand and comfortably reach the top left corner with your thumb great design, and iPhone breaks when you drop it because its made of cheap parts? how about the fact front and back are glass ? samsung phones are ugly and too complicated and all the good features they have are stolen from the iPhone!

Friend has the samsung and i have to admit the display does look very nice and android is more free to the user than Apple is but i much prefer the iphone due to its interface, which im used to, so there nothing really that would tempt me to change from the iphone. Again mostly a personal preference but to fix it is very cheap as well which is a bonus!!! £20 to replace a screen, cant argue with that!
Agree with dan above that the other smart phones are very similiar to the iphone but with slight differences, between the phones my missus has, friend has and mine, i prefer the iphone but that is blatently biased!! :haha:

all the same threads, everyone is different.
i love my blackberry its brilliant. i think iphones are pooo and would never get one... only as i hate touch screen. i like a nice set of buttons to push, means i can pay half attention texting and watch tv same time. i have an ipod touch which i like for the apps but if i try typing i just have issues haha (fat fingers).
as i said though, everyone is different, some people need to accept not everyone will agree on one choice of phone.

i used to adore iphone, jailbroken ones only. i always knew they are over rated... but i liked it, until android was launched and some good versions went out. now its bug free and runs perfectly. i still like iphone but i like more the fact that you can get a better (MUCH) smart phone for a lower price..
Gf wanted an iphone 4s just cos its cool that its a 4s.. software has a bug with the sms and facebook notification and they didnt do an update fix. also vibration inside is loose, if you pinch the bottom right corner it wont sound like its loose.. and apparintly its almost on all iphone 4s.. to me thats chinese brandless quality.
whats the fuss about this iphone4s? introducing the new icloud.. new? maybe to apple yes.. lol 8mp cam.. nothing new.. processors.. nothing new too.. siri, not working like its being advertised at all.. and again.. nothing new..

I upgraded to the 4S and haven't seen much improvement over the previous iPhone, Siri is a nice touch but still in Beta stages (Apparently done to collect as much info as possible to help improve it) It's a bit annoying that the adverts in the UK show it doing things it can only currently do in the US/Canada but still a bit of fun none the less. The camera is a fairly big improvement over the previous but I'd still prefer a stand alone for decent pics! - Seems I shall be waiting a life time for a jailbreak but I can't complain as it's not something I can break the code to

Mate, what do you know about the Samsung?
Do you know that it's the world's largest information technology company measured by 2010 revenues -) With Revenue US$ 220.1 billion (2010)!!! If you think that they steal technology you're seriously mistaken... Samsung research and make a lot of stuff in the IT industry, with decent quality, I can bet that even your RAM in your PC/MAC/Phone - whatever you've got is made by Samsung, but you clearly don't know about it.
Apple is just 2.5% of the Samsung's total sales.
Apple makes ridiculously overpriced stuff with the cheapest possible quality. Where is Samsung makes reliable products offer decent price and 3 year warranty on all their products. I've been on the Samsung's international conference and have an idea how Samsung manufacture their products and they're top quality mate with really advanced technology.
With their technology they can make an Iphone look like a 10 year old mobile phone -)
All the iphones are made in China on the cheap factory called Foxconn, which makes a lot of stuff and pay £3 a month wage to their employees who are 12-15 year old working up to 15 hours a day.
