And is it worth getting a hybrid' Prob best to get a 360o bearing but what about the turbine and impeller? TBH the boost threshold aint that bad on the one we have just its smoking now' Dont realy want to send this one off as that meens taking the car off the road again...

Maybe worth it depending on whats done with it. The bearing type (360 degree) will allow you to run higher boost levels more safely not really affect performance/power but apart from that you could actually look into getting the TD04 rebuilt with a Ball Bearing? This usually is related to achieving better spool times, but from what Iv researched, theres not too much in it that way, however, the drop in boost between ger changes is reduced significantly with BB turbos.

You could also go for slightly larger compressor wheel than stock and mate it with the stock exhaust side wheel.

any place that tunes scoobys wil have loads laying about. or jsut ask on any scooby forum will be loads of ppl who have upgraded to vf turbos. will be cheap aswel.
