I'm running external wastegate I'm a oldschool plug n play fan, surely the ecu that was made for my turbo will perform great...I can't decide what to do, I only live a couple of hours from TD Manchester, if something was to go wrong or I want to change a part it's another remap I would be happy not to overpower and settle for 190-200bhp if I can't find one I will be going there with the emb.

the blitz ecu with the k1 will perform securely and with reliability ...very excellent pulg and play ecu :)

As I've said it over fuels, ran one for a few months and you get bit more power with a emu. If you get yourself an AFR you can keep an eye on things after changing your setup.

I do have an adjustable fpr to go on and will be buying a ebc I would rather run a little bit rich than lean, I totally see what your saying though, a friend of mine went to get a map lately off a great trustworthy tuner and with the stock turbo and a shitty mani he pulled an awesome 210bhp @ 1bar but it didn't last all that long it's a thing that worries me going to a tuner pushing these 15+ year old engine's and parts to the absolute max, imo the emb will be just as good and used as the emu in my situation any other sort after different turbo I would not choose the plug n play route if I can manage 200 bhp off a plug n play 10 bhp and a 6hours drive will make no sense to me in terms of proper map and safety how wrong can blitz be

I think I managed about 180 with the full blitz k1-200 kit, an adjustable fpr won't make any difference.

was that with an ebc? And internally gated? I can't see me getting a hold of one al probably go get it mapped on emb no doubt, thanks for the input :)

Yeah, if anything it'll probably confuse matters lol.

The P&P ECU's tend to chuck extra fuel in for safety's sake. Not necessarily a bad thing the way some of us drive but you can be missing out on power. If you can live with that they are spot on.

Maps are like suits - if you want a tailored one it's gonna cost extra!

If I wear a suit going for the map it's a win win situation lol
