how much oil are we talking about?

if its from the back of the engine not the top cover breather.. then well il could be your top cover gasket, it is made of rubber so needs to be changed every so amount of miles...

hope so,would this come in headgasket set

its quite alot of oil tbh,its right around the rocker cover and all down by the alternator area

hmmm im hoping its either a crank seal or cop cover gasket, yes it does come in a gasket set.. its looks like a thin frame made from rubber, resembling the shape of the top cover..

is the oil coming from the breather? coz if so u may have to strip down again.. where the rings gapped well just by chance?

i know whats happend,its the rocker cover rubber seal

when we put it back together on tuesday i must of not put it on right

will be sorting this out this evening

yea thats good news,when i noticed the oil i thought ooo ****,so we started her up and checked the breather,everything was fine,so realeved

sorting this out

Went to do undone the rocker bolts and 3 were lose they were 100% tight before

so i put the old spacers back on as they were metel rather than the rubber ones that were in the new head set

all seems to be fine now

Also had a scare last nigth,gave her some well on the duel ,all i hear is a pop and loss of power,turbo felt like it stoped working.

Pulled over to find the intercoller pipe had come off..........thought it was more serious than that

so me and my car are on good terms now
